Back in 2008, the Clown Prince of the New York Slimes' editorial page, Thomas Friedman, wrote this in his book, "Hot, Flat, and Crowded" (What's that, you say ? You haven't read it ? Most of America hasn't. Like most lib books, Hot, Flat, and Crowded was a dud.
