Labor Lawyer Explains Why Boeing Shouldn't Be Allowed to Make Airplanes in Right to Work South

The socialist goons staffing Obama’s National Labor Relations Board have two reasons not to allow Boeing to build airplanes in a right to work state like South Carolina. It’s not just that letting Boeing escape the suffocating unions that killed the car industry would peeve the Moonbat Messiah’s union friends. Labor lawyer Thomas Geoghegan gives the other reason: Southerners are too inferior to do competent work.

We should be aghast that Boeing is sending a big fat market signal that it wants a less-skilled, lower-quality work force. This country is in a debt crisis because we buy abroad much more than we sell. Alas, because of this trade deficit, foreign creditors have the country in their clutches. That’s not because of our labor costs — in that respect, we can undersell most of our high-wage, unionized rivals like Germany. It’s because we have too many poorly educated and low-skilled workers that are simply unable to compete. …

There are reasons workers in the North get $28 an hour while down in the South they get $14 or even $10. Adam Smith could explain it: “productivity,” “skill level,” “quality.”

What makes Southerners so defective? A lack of sufficient moonbattery.

If the history of runaway shops proves anything, it’s that many go “South” in more than one sense of the word. If that sounds unfair to the South, it is union busting that has inflicted the real unfairness in the region: income inequality and inferior schools.

An infusion of Marxism, more lavish and unaffordable pensions for educrats, and maybe one day Southerners will stop marrying their cousins and having so many gaps between their teeth.

Meanwhile, liberals will use the word “bigot” as a shillelagh on the head of anyone who doesn’t share their snobbish ideology, and many of the nominally German Beemers they like to drive are made in Spartanburg, South Carolina.
