Obama regime puts Army / Navy vet Elisha Dawkins in jail for checking wrong box on passport application

Dawkins served in Iraq and was trusted enough to be a photographer at GITMO. In order to have such a job, you have to be a a a trusted member of the military with top secret clearance. But now Elisha Dawkins is in jail, for up to 10 years? Why? According to WJXT the excuse is “passport fraud.” who served in Iraq, is in jail, charged with passport fraud. He’s facing 10 years in prison for what could be a simple misunderstanding. What is the Obama regime’s excuse for using the passport fraud excuse? WJXT explains:

A federal indictment states that Dawkins started to fill out a passport application in 2004, didn’t complete it, then filled out a new application two years later.
On that new application, he checked a box “no” for the question, “Have you ever applied before?” according to the indictment.
Dawkins got the passport, but three months ago, the government issued a warrant for his arrest. He was taking photos for the Navy at the time.

Yep, that’s the reason the man is in jail for 10 years. While illegal immigrants run around this country, some of which commit crimes, others become gangbangers, or just go on welfare and drain the tax payer resources Elisha Dawkins sits in jail for something as stupid as this. Marxist Florida Democrat Senator Bill Nelson who know’s he’s in deep sh*t come next year’s election is demanding answers. Nelson claims that the State Department is implying there’s something more, yet no one knows what it is. We do know that Hillary Clinton and the State Department found the time and tax payer resources to line up freakazoid Lady Gaga to appear at some EuroPride rally in Italy though. Love the priorities.
