A Lynnwood man is trying to draw attention to what he calls the profiling of Muslims by U.S. Government agencies.
Jeff Siddiqui is organizing a protest at the Peace Arch in Blaine on Sunday.
He believes people of his faith are unfairly singled out as terrorists by authorities at airports and U.S. borders
A group of supporters plan to join him, carrying banners and signs to encourage lawmakers to take up their cause.
"My goal is not so that I'm protected. My goal is that future generations grow up in a country that is levelheaded and can treat everyone with justice and equality,” said Siddiqui.
The pro-Muslim demonstration will be held from noon to 4 p.m. Sunday at the Peace Arch border crossing in Blaine.
