Gee, no problem here. Why not let tens of thousands of illegal aliens to stay in the United States especially when there are no jobs, no money, gangs are proliferating and ‘flash mob’ violence is the new young-and-unemployed pastime? Make no mistake–this is the beginning of an attempt to give illegal aliens de-facto legal status as ‘having gone through the system’ then hook them up with the so-called DREAM Act, opening the flood gates for full-fledged amnesty.
We know the Establishment–both parties and media–have wanted this forever believing ‘the Mexican vote’ is going to save their liberal agenda. They’ve got another think coming, but in the meantime it sure looks like the GOP is giving Obama all the room he wants on this issue and so many others.
Dems cheer Obama’s more lenient rules on illegal immigrants
Democrats in both chambers are cheering Thursday after the Obama administration unveiled more lenient rules surrounding the deportation of illegal immigrants.
The changes — announced by the Department of Homeland Security — will allow many illegal immigrants to remain in the country and apply for work permits.
And what are the odds we’re going to see an Executive Order or legislation that will allow those holding ‘work permits’ to vote? Watch it happen sooner than later.
Under the new rules, DHS officials will perform a case-by-case reviews of those in line for deportation, weeding out violent criminals and other high priority cases while closing the books on those considered no threat.
The changes could be particularly beneficial to people who would be eligible for the DREAM Act, an immigration proposal pushed by Democrats that has yet to pass Congress.
The DREAM Act would offer a pathway to permanent residency — and eventually citizenship — for certain illegal immigrants brought to the U.S. as children. The bill passed the House in December, but was killed by a GOP filibuster in the Senate.
‘Closing the books’ means amnesty, plain and simple. Obama is effectively ending the sovereignty of this nation in an effort to capture more votes by “expanding the electorate.” I know there’s a lot going on, and I believe the budget/debt fight is meant in part to distract us from a whole host of other unacceptable changes the Dumb Bastard is ushering through the back door. Make sure your congressional reps, whenever you contact them on another issue, hear from you about this one as well. Or, make a specific call to them making it clear this is completely unacceptable and is going to accelerate the economic collapse of our great nation.
