Police: Obama's LA campaign office vandalized

Sep 23, 1:12 AM EDT

LOS ANGELES (AP) -- Police say President Barack Obama's west Los Angeles campaign office has been vandalized.

Los Angeles police Officer Sara Faden says the incident was reported at about 7:30 p.m. Thursday by someone who heard glass breaking and then noticed something had been thrown through the window.

Faden says BB gun pellets also may have been fired through the window of the office on South Centinela Avenue.

No one was in the office at the time.

Police say they have no suspect description and there are no video surveillance cameras in the area.

Obama is scheduled to visit Los Angeles next week to raise money for his re-election campaign.
