Over at American Thinker, Pamela Geller asks why is a representative of a terror-linked organization, a defender of jihad terror groups and an apologist for Islamic supremacism welcome to speak in public schools? As Geller points out at the link, the "speaker" is none other than Hassan Shibly, who has a track record of defending jihad terrorist groups and acting as an apologist for worldwide jihad and Islamic supremacism.
More specifically, why is Kelly Miliziano, a World History teacher at Steinbrenner High School in Hillsborough County, Florida allowing "many speakers" from CAIR, the Muslim Brotherhood, Hamas-linked organization a magnificent platform to spread their disinformation among the students?
Geller's right, readers (and especially parents of students at Steinbrenner High School) should contact the school and politely request that the children be given balanced lessons on this crucial subject matter. Anywhere CAIR speaks, freedom's defenders must be given a platform as well. We are not an Islamic nation in which truth is blasphemy.
Perhaps Ms. Kelly Miliziano and Ms. Brenda Grasso (principal of the school) need to be made aware of some of the statements that Senior CAIR/HAMAS leaders have made regarding their loyalty to America, statements that include the following:
Omar M. Ahmad (Co-founder and former National Chairman of CAIR) - "Islam isn't in America to be equal to any other faith but to become dominant" ... "The Koran, the Muslim book of scripture, should be the highest authority in America, and Islam the only accepted religion on Earth."
Ibrahim "Dougie" Hooper (National Spokesman of CAIR and former employee of CAIR's (dissolved) parent organization, the Islamic Association for Palestine) - "I wouldn't want to create the impression that I wouldn't like the government of the United States to be Islamic sometime in the future. But I'm not going to do anything violent to promote that. I'm going to do it through education."
Ihsan Bagby (National Board Member of CAIR, Executive Committee Member of the Board of CAIR-Kentucky) - "Ultimately we (Muslims) can never be full citizens of this country ... because there is no way we can be fully committed to the institutions and ideologies of this country."
Hamza Yusuf Hanson (CAIR Board Member & Founder of 1st Islamic College (Zaytuna) in America) - "I am a citizen of this country not by choice but by birth. I reside in this country not by choice but by conviction in attempting to spread the message of Islam in this country. I became Muslim in part because I did not believe in the false gods of this society, whether we call them Jesus or democracy or the Bill of Rights or any other element of this society that is held sacrosanct by the ill-informed peoples that makes up this charade of a society."
And perhaps they're not aware of CAIR's agenda, as they should be.
