Why Is Gay Marriage a State’s Right Issue But Abortion is a Federal One?

IOTW:

Obama just stepped deeper into the morass. Abortion advocates will never let Roe v Wade be overturned and left up to the individual states, yet, Obama has taken this milquetoast stand on an issue that is certainly every bit a federal one as a “woman’s right to privacy.”

Either Roe v Wade is a state issue or gay marriage is a federal one. Obama is clearly just wading on this one.

OPINION AT FORBES

Obama is clearly not rowing, not moving forward, not fundamentally changing anything, nor is he transformative. He is just treading water on an issue that he knows will damage him. He’s a coward and a politician. But I repeat myself.
