(Examiner.com) A second woman posing as a "Republican who supports Obama" in a new campaign advertisement was identified Saturday as Delia Ciano, the mother of Maria Ciano, a registered Democrat who also appears in the ad, posing as a Republican, John Hinderaker reported at Powerline.
"Her Facebook page, like her daughter’s, is revealing. She put up a link to the Obama video and writes, 'Maria and I are part of this video. I hope you watch,'” he wrote before posting a screen shot of her personal Facebook page.
Listed as her favorites are "Women for Obama," and "Obama for America - Colorado." One post on her page calls Republicans "idiots," while another shows a graphic from the Obama Truth Team page saying the GOP platform calls for a constitutional amendment outlawing abortion.
"Share this to let everyone know where Mitt Romney and his party stand on women's rights," the post says.
One commenter said he saw Ciano on the Rachel Maddow program on MSNBC.
Ciano responds: "TRMS Is my favorite show!! Amazing!"
"Ms. Ciano’s Facebook page also reveals that she was part of a small group that met with Michelle Obama when Mrs. Obama was in Colorado on August 11, presumably indicating that she has some stature in the Obama campaign," Hinderaker adds.
Yet, the Obama campaign wants American voters to believe she is a Republican.
Ironically, one of her "likes" is a page called "Ethical Reporters Against Faux News," a reference to the Fox News network.
Earlier Saturday, we reported that her daughter, Maria, also posed as a Republican in the ad that claims GOP women are voting for Obama. Buzzfeed reported that she has been a registered Democrat since 2006.
Hinderaker asked: "How about the others in the ad?"
Apparently, as far as the Obama campaign is concerned, truth really doesn't matter in politics.
Update: The video seems to have disappeared from the Obama campaign website, but still remains on the Obama campaign Youtube channel and can still be seen here, for now.
