North Carolina College Students Vote Chick-fil-A Off Campus

The students are showing their commitment to tolerance by having zero tolerance for moralities that are different from their own.

Elon University’s student government has voted to ban a Chick-fil-a restaurant on campus because the fast-food chain’s president opposes gay marriage.

The North Carolina university’s Student Government Association approved the ban with a vote of 35-11.

Association president Darien Flowers could still veto the ban but if he approves it the group will formally ask the restaurant to find another business to take its space.

What’s next? Vote the Muslim groups off campus because they don’t like gay marriage either?

This is the brand of “tolerance” our kids are learning on college campuses. It’s not real tolerance, which would mean that we respect the right of others to disagree with us, but phony tolerance where in those whose beliefs don’t mesh with liberal orthodoxy are to be silenced and ostracized.
