Criminalizing Religious Criticism: UN Resolution Threatens Freedom of Speech

A new resolution introduced at the United Nations Human Rights Council has free speech advocates concerned about a potential backlash against religious minority groups. Previously introduced as Resolution 62/154, “Combating defamation of religion,” the piece was originally written to criminalize the criticism of religion. Advocates worried that the resolution would, at best, limit freedom of speech, and at worst, jeopardize religious minorities in countries carrying heavy punishments for blasphemy and apostasy. Why I am a Hispanic Republican

For years, Democrats have been largely successful in courting Hispanics with a simple message. They say, “Democrats are for minorities and poor people, while Republicans are for the rich and the white. Hispanics are minorities and poor. Therefore, Hispanics are Democrats.”

But look around you. What have Democrats done for Hispanics, lately – besides taken them for granted? And as long as Hispanics continue to buy into that simple message, the Democrats will continue to take us for granted while they turn their attention on groups for whose votes they actually have to compete. Whither Santorum and Those 'Guns and Bible' Voters?

After his stunning surge in Iowa, Rick Santorum's virtual tie for fourth place in New Hampshire is being interpreted negatively by some commentators and pundits who are gleefully declaring that the social conservative and evangelical voters -- those "guns and Bible" folks -- have run out of steam. They are also claiming that Santorum, Gingrich, and Perry are splitting the evangelical vote, making it likely that Romney will coast to a win in South Carolina as well.

Obama Administration Propaganda Lies About Domestic Energy Production

FACT: Lease sales on public lands have steadily decreased over the last 25 years.

The Hidden Dark Agenda of Public Education

“An alien collectivist (socialist) philosophy, much of which came from Europe, crashed onto the shores of our nation, bringing with it radical changes in economics, politics, and education, funded - surprisingly enough - by several wealthy American families and their tax-exempt foundations. The goal of these wealthy families and their foundations - a seamless non-competitive global system for commerce and trade - when stripped of flowery expressions of concern for minorities, the less fortunate, etc., represented the initial stage of what this author now refers to as the deliberate dumbing down of America. Seventy years later, the carefully laid plans to change America from a sovereign, constitutional republic with a free enterprise economic base to just one of many nations in an international socialist (collectivist) system (New World Order) are apparent. Only a dumbed down population, with no memory of America’s roots as a prideful nation, could be expected to willingly succumb to the global workforce training planned by the Carnegie Corporation and the John D. Rockefellers, I and II.”

Corrupt Congress to vote on Internet censorship bills SOPA and PIPA on January 24th

If there’s one thing that brings the left and right together it’s things like this. The corrupt Senate (controlled by Democrats) and corrupt House (controlled by Republicans) are set to vote on the Internet censorship bills on Tuesday, January 24th. The Senate is set to vote on PIPA or the Protect IP Act is basically the evil twin of SOPA (Stop Online Piracy Act) that will be voted on the same day in the Republican controlled House. Both bills would give the U.S. Department of Justice (no matter if under Obama, or a Republican president) the right to censor, block and seize Internet that they deem to be “copyright infringers.” No one can argue about the need to go after “rogue sites” that pirate movies or music, but these bills go far beyond that. It’s crap like this that Republicans (and Democrats) pull that drive people to the side of candidates like Ron Paul. So called “limited government” Republicans want to regulate and censor the Internet. Think about it. Do you want Eric Holder, or any future Attorney General in charge of regulating the ‘net? While most of the attention has been drawn to SOPA, PIPA has gotten very little attention, and the big government Republicans and Democrats are likely to pass that bill at this point, unless there’s a big uproar over it. Want to bet Fox News or CNN wouldn’t have the cajones to ask the candidates what they think of these bills during the debates next week?

There are 47 Republicans in the Senate, yet only 41 votes against the bill would stop it. It’s pretty clear most Democrats are Marxists and favor such legislation. But there are over 20 Senate Democrats up for re-election this year. Around ten of them are in red or purple states which doesn’t guarantee them re-election. The question is, are there enough of these Democrats and Republicans that haven’t been bought off for this censorship bill? Make your voices heard now!

Final Implementation of Obama Dictatorship in Progress on All Levels

By: Sher Ziev
Gulag Bound

from "real-debt-elimination.com"

I have warned and written about this particular subject for over three years–since before Obama was elected–aka “coronated.“ It is only now that many others finally seem to be getting the message. However, this is not something to be criticized. It is to be applauded, as it means they are finally and inexorably awakening to the truth. They are to be applauded and not insulted. I noticed this morning that–after a few of the latest Obama assaults on the US Constitution and liberties of We-the-People–some in the media (not the Obama media of course) appear to at last to have come to the realization that Obama is and has been a dictator.

Even some members of our feckless and Obama-accommodating Congress are at last saying that Obama is acting in an “extra-Constitutional” (aka “illegal”; “unconstitutional”) and “dictatorial” manner. Even though it seems to have taken an inordinate amount of time for even these to ultimately admit that we are in a police state crisis, I applaud them for having the insight–albeit very delayed–to admit the destructive force that is working daily to eliminate the United States of America. We need all of the help we can muster.

Obama’s latest shredding of the US Constitution and replacing the USA’s 3-Branch Equal-Powers Federal Government system with his own dictatorship include but, are hardly limited to the following:

The Year Of Living Dangerously

Guest Post: 2012 - The Year Of Living Dangerously

Submitted by Jim Quinn of The Burning Platform

2012 - The Year Of Living Dangerously

“In retrospect, the spark might seem as ominous as a financial crash, as ordinary as a national election, or as trivial as a Tea Party. The catalyst will unfold according to a basic Crisis dynamic that underlies all of these scenarios: An initial spark will trigger a chain reaction of unyielding responses and further emergencies. The core elements of these scenarios (debt, civic decay, global disorder) will matter more than the details, which the catalyst will juxtapose and connect in some unknowable way. If foreign societies are also entering a Fourth Turning, this could accelerate the chain reaction. At home and abroad, these events will reflect the tearing of the civic fabric at points of extreme vulnerability – problem areas where America will have neglected, denied, or delayed needed action.” – Strauss & Howe – The Fourth Turning - 1997
