Excellent: Township lowers taxes 50 percent

Wow! This certainly looks like a great place to relocate to.


Officials in Adams County town make tough choices


ADAMS COUNTY, Pa. — In these tough economic times, municipalities are often forced to raise taxes.

In one small township in Adams County, supervisors have lowered taxes for three consecutive years and this year the tax rate is going down 50 percent.

Mount Joy Township officials think what they have done is possible elsewhere.
