Rest assured, the DC Police will not be confronting armed protesters with non-lethal weapons.
Lanier has promised to arrest anybody who crosses the bridge carrying loaded rifles. She argued that walking into Washington D.C. with loaded rifles is a violation of the law, regardless of whether or not it’s part of a protest. Carrying a loaded weapon of any type is currently illegal in the District of Columbia.
