One person was killed and at least 23 others were injured in weekend shootings across Chicago, including a drive-by shooting that left six people injured in the city's Uptown neighborhood.
The weekend's most recent shooting took place in the city's West Englewood Sunday evening when a young mother and her 2-year-old son were shot, police said.
