Imir R. Williams, charged
A star of the hit television series "Amish Mafia" was severely beaten by her boyfriend last week in Strasburg, police allege.

Imir R. Williams, 24, is charged with felony aggravated assault for repeatedly punching Esther Schmucker in the head early on Halloween morning, charging documents indicate.

As of Tuesday morning, police were searching for Williams, listed in court documents as 6-foot-4 and 210 pounds.
A felony arrest warrant was filed Sunday.

"We're actively seeking Imir," Strasburg police Chief Steven Echternach said Tuesday morning. "We believe he's either in (Lancaster) city or New Jersey."

Schmucker sustained multiple injuries in the beating, including a facial fracture, broken nose and multiple broken teeth, the documents show.

Schmucker, 27, plays a major role on the Discovery Channel series, known simply as "Esther."

This isn't the first allegation of her being abused at the hands of Williams, according to court records.

Previously, Schmucker filed at least three protection-from-abuse orders against Williams, who lives on and off with her at her Strasburg home, those filings show.

Schmucker failed to appear for any court hearings regarding the PFAs, so they expired.

Williams will be required to answer to the latest allegation, as Strasburg police Officer Bradley Klunk filed the arrest warrant Sunday afternoon.

Schmucker's roommate told police she witnessed the attack and tried to pull Williams off Schmucker, an affidavit shows.
