Absolutely Hilarious: Florida House candidate calls for hanging of Obama

PINELLAS COUNTY, Fla. —
As Americans across the country celebrated Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., a Republican candidate for a Florida House seat was busy making some shocking comments on social media.
Joshua Black took to Twitter, saying President Obama should be hanged for war crimes.
"I'm past impeachment," tweeted Black, who is a candidate for the Florida House in District 68 in the St. Peterburg/Clearwater area. "It's time to arrest and hang him high."
The post caught the attention of several Florida lawmakers, including Chris Latvala, who's vying for the House District 67 seat.

"You aren't seriously calling for the killing of Obama are you?" Latvala replied. "I know you are crazy but good heavens. U R an embarrassment."
According to Black's campaign website, he entered politics in 2012 after moving to Florida just 5 years earlier. The 31-year-old had reportedly practiced street evangelism in St. Louis.
His tweets are still up and you can even read a number of replies from Black, defending his comment. He claims Obama 'should be held responsible for ordering a drone strike that killed a U.S. citizen overseas.'
"He should be executed for treason," Black tweets. "I think the appropriate punishment is death. They killed Benedict Arnold. (Obama) shouldn't be allowed to kill Americans without a trial."
Black later acknowledged Benedict Arnold was not killed for treason.
Black even mentioned he's not afraid of the Secret Service showing up on his doorstep.
"I guess they're going to call me a racist now," he said.
The St. Pete Times reports Black plans to run against Democratic state Representative Dwight Dudley, who responded to his opponent's social media rant. Dudley says Black has the right to disagree with the president's decisions, but called his comments "dangerous and unbecoming for someone who wants to lead."
