It's official. Greg Abbott and Wendy Davis are facing each other in the Texas Governor's race in November.
Elections results are continued to come in but both candidates secured their party's nominations early in the night.
Abbott secured and maintained an easy 92 percent throughout the night.
Davis was declared the winner after getting more than 76 percent of the vote statewide.
But in the Rio Grande Valley, Davis actually lost to Democratic Party challenger Reynaldo "Ray" Madrigal.
