Infiltration: Probation officer indicted on 58 corruption related crimes

A former Starr County adult probation officer is in custody after a grand jury indicted him on 58 corruption related counts.
Joseph Romeo Ozuna is in custody connected to those charges, according to the Starr County District Attorney.
A Starr County Grand Jury indicted Ozuna today.
According to the Starr County DA Omar Escobar, the indictment will be released tomorrow morning.
The former Starr County probation officer had been working with the office for about six years.
The charges include bribery, theft and tampering, according to the DA.
The acts allegedly happened back in 2012.
Ozuna has been booked at the Starr County Jail.
