Name That Source: Over $3.5 million worth of meth found in broccoli shipment

U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has seized over $3.5 million worth of methamphetamine (meth) found in a shipment of fresh broccoli.
CBP at the Pharr International Bridge seized the meth valued at around $3,598,000.
The meth was seized on Friday, March 14 after CBP officers found it during an inspection.
A total of 46 packages were found inside the 1996 refrigerated trailer.
CBP officers removed the 46 packages, which weighed about 112 pounds, from the shipment of produce.
The 18-wheeler and broccoli were seized along with the load of drugs.
“This substantial interception of methamphetamine in the commercial environment was accomplished due to outstanding teamwork and great utilization of all available tools are resources,” the Port Director Efrain Solis Jr. said in a press release.
