President Obama still has two years and 10 months left in office but his team is already making plans for his post-White House career.
The Barack Obama Foundation is seeking proposals from colleges to house the Obama presidential library, with Illinois, New York and Hawaii among the top contenders.
“We’re completely open-minded about what we might get back,” Marty Nesbitt, the Chicago businessman and longtime Obama friend who chairs the foundation told the Associated Press.
“We haven’t ruled in anything or ruled out anything.”

The Virginia based 501(c)3 organization only had $24,496 in total expenses, with the bulk of money going toward rent, according to the latest 990 form for 2010.
“We were not very successful this year because of limited contributions,” Abon'go Malik Obama stated on the tax form.
Reps for President Obama said the initial was dropped from the foundation's name to avoid confusion.
