A San Benito man has been arrested on charges of unlawfully possessing firearms.
Adrian Eric Alonso was arrested on Monday morning at a house on Casey Road in San Benito when authorities were searching for a gang member.
That’s when Alonso, who they were not originally searching for, was arrested.
The San Benito man was arrested by a multi-agency task force including Harlingen police.
He was found inside a recreational vehicle (RV) on the property.
He was charged for unlawful possession of a firearm, a third degree felony.
Alonso’s bond was set at $125,000 for the five charges.
