Authorities are remaining tight-lipped following a raid at a rural home just northeast of the outlet mall late Saturday night.
It all happened at a home on the 100 block of Palm Street in the rural Hidalgo County community of Heidelberg.
Border Patrol agents arrived at the home late Saturday night.
Agents were seen loading dozens of people believed to be illegal immigrants into a bus.
Neither investigators nor neighbors declined to comment at the scene.
Heidelberg is a peaceful rural community just northeast of Mercedes on Mile 2 East.
