Chief fundraiser Obama, California-bound

05/07/2014

President Barack Obama is set to come to California for a series of fundraisers and a speech at a Holocaust history foundation.
The president is scheduled to arrive at Los Angeles International Airport at about 5 p.m. Wednesday. From there he'll attend a fundraiser for Democratic Congressional campaigns at a home in Bel Air.
Later Wednesday, Obama will give a speech and get an award from the USC Shoah Foundation at the University of Southern California.
Conan O'Brien is set to host and Bruce Springsteen is scheduled to perform at the event for the Shoah Foundation, established at USC by Steven Spielberg after he made the film "Schindler's List" to preserve the stories of Holocaust survivors.
On Thursday he's scheduled to attend another Congressional fundraiser in the San Diego area.
