A woman was arrested after she allegedly attempted to steal baby clothes, along with other items at a Harlingen Walmart.
The incident happened Friday evening at the store on 1801 W. Lincoln Avenue.
Police arrested Victoria Maciel after she allegedly attempted to steal $118 worth of baby clothes and other items.
Authorities said the Loss Prevention Officer saw Maciel place the items inside a Walmart plastic bag.
The 28-year-old then reportedly made her way to exit the store.
Harlingen police said that Maciel was confronted and returned to the store.
The Harlingen Police Department arrested Maciel on theft charges, and transported her to the city jail for processing.
A bond of $750 was set.
