Seven men are now behind bars after they were caught in multiple prostitution stings in Harlingen.
The Harlingen Police Department Special Investigations Unit (SIU) conducted multiple undercover prostitution stings near the 400 block of West Buren Street.
The following men were caught soliciting an undercover officer:
- Jose Rosales, 29, Harlingen resident
- Ray Edward Holloman, 40, Harlingen resident
- Jose Guadalupe Gloria, 43, Harlingen resident
- Roberto Resendez, 25, Elsa resident.
- Ruben Avalos Cantu, 57, Harlingen resident
- Sergio Morales Ibarra, 36, San Benito resident
- Marcos Cantu, 29, San Benito resident
- Ray Edward Holloman, 40, Harlingen resident
- Jose Guadalupe Gloria, 43, Harlingen resident
- Roberto Resendez, 25, Elsa resident.
- Ruben Avalos Cantu, 57, Harlingen resident
- Sergio Morales Ibarra, 36, San Benito resident
- Marcos Cantu, 29, San Benito resident
According to Harlingen police, they have received multiple complains in the past for prostitution.
Each man reportedly came in contact and solicited an undercover officer.
A bond of $500 was set for each man on a prostitution charges, a class B misdemeanor.
