Anchor Babies In The News: Armed teens storm home, demand cash

An arrest has now been made in a home invasion after three people demanded cash from those in the home.
The home invasion happened Friday morning at 6 a.m. on Montana Street near Mile 1 ½ and Mile 11 in Mercedes.
Noe Carmona is accused of breaking into a home armed with two other men.
Carmona allegedly demanded money from a 14 and 69-year-old who were in the home at the time.
No injuries were reported from the victims, but 17-year-old Carmona and the two that were involved stole electronics from the home.
Hidalgo County Sheriff Investigators identified one of the other suspects as a 14-year-old.
They are currently working to identify the third man involved in the home invasion.
Precinct 3 Place 2 Justice of the Peace Ismael Ochoa set the teen’s bond at $85,000 on aggravated robbery charges.
