A man is behind remains behind bars after he allegedly raped a teen while she was sleeping.
Hidalgo County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a home in Edinburg off Mountainview Lane Saturday, July 19th.
The victim told deputies that Angel Rodrigo Rivera went into her room while she was sleeping, where he raped her.
Investigators said the victim wanted to file criminal charges against the 20-year-old.
Action 4 News does not identify victims of sexual assault, but the 20-year-old did have access to the teen.
Rivera remains behind bars on a $50,000 bond at the Hidalgo County Jail.
