A protective order has been issued against Cynthia Vasquez after police said she left her four children in a "dirty home" all by themselves.
The Santa Rosa mom is accused of leaving her four kids home alone for 12 hours over the weekend.
Police said the children were ages 11, 9, 5 and 2, and the toddler has special needs.
He eats through a tube and reportedly needs around the clock care.
Vasquez was released from jail on charges related to child abandonment.
Police said she can't be near her children until the end of November when the protective order expires.
The children's grandmother is currently taking care of three of the children, and the child with special needs is staying with his father.
Child Protective Services is also investigating at this time.
