A woman is safe and two men are behind bars following a gunpoint kidnapping that took place outside a strip club in Donna.
Both Julio Cesar Botello and Orlando Guillea Constante are facing criminal charges in connection to the early Monday morning incident.
Donna police told Action 4 News that a 29-year-old Guatemalan woman was kidnapped outside Club Envidias, a bring-your-own-beer strip club off Expressway 83 and Val Verde Road.
Investigators said the woman was drinking with a group of three men at the club when one of them grabbed her hair and pointed a gun at her head.
The man told her that they were "sicarios," which is Spanish for drug cartel gunmen.
The three men told the woman that they were going to rape her and if she didn't do what they said, they were going to kill her.
Investigators said the woman managed to call 9-1-1 but sounded so intoxicated that a dispatcher hung up on her three times.
During the fourth call, the Guatemalan woman was able to let the dispatcher know that they were at a Stripes convenience store at 801 North Closner Boulevard in Edinburg.
One of the men had already been dropped off at another location but Edinburg police rescued the woman and took both Botello and Constante into custody.
The two men are expected to face a judge late Monday morning while authorities are working to identify and arrest the third suspect.
