Latinos Make Up 16% of US Workforce as Country Celebrates Hispanic Heritage Month (Percentage of Government Entitlements Not Specified)

The U.S. workforce is changing. Over the last two decades, the number of Hispanics contributing to the U.S. economy has increased.

In 1993, there were 11.8 million Hispanic workers or 9% of the total workforce. In 2013, however, there were 24.8 million Hispanic workers or 16% of the total workforce.
