Gloria Allred representing second woman who accuses NFL player C.J. Spillman of assault

Spillman, 28, was playing for the San Francisco ’49ers in December when he allegedly assaulted the woman, a massage therapist, at her studio. Spillman, now a safety for the Dallas Cowboys, is also under investigation in an alleged rape last month in Texas.

Feminist lawyer Gloria Allred has been retained by a second woman who claims she was sexually assaulted by NFL player C.J. Spillman.
Allred said she notified the league Friday that the woman — who lives in Santa Clara, Calif. — has retained her as counsel.
Spillman, 28, was playing for the San Francisco 49ers in December when he allegedly assaulted the new client, a massage therapist.
The woman said in her police report that Spillman groped her and tried to rip off her pants after getting a sports massage at her studio. He also pinned her on the ground and tried to force her to perform oral sex, according to the report.
The ’49ers have confirmed that police spoke to Spillman about the alleged attack, but no further steps were taken.
Spillman, now a safety for the Dallas Cowboys, is also under investigation in an alleged rape last month in Grapevine, Texas.
His accuser told police he raped her Sept. 20 at the team hotel just outside of Dallas. Allred represents that woman too.
Spillman has not been arrested or charged in either case to date.
