A teen is accused of raping a woman then telling her he would leave her alone.
The Pharr Police Department arrested the 19-year-old on a sexual assault charge during late October.
Angel Martinez allegedly told the woman he wanted to “be with her”, while they were eating at the woman’s home.
The woman told him "no", but he grabbed her by her arm and took her into a bedroom, according to a criminal complaint in the case.
Action 4 News does not identify victims of sexual abuse.
Records show an immigration detainer has been issues since Martinez is now in custody.
He was booked into the Hidalgo County Jail late last week.
His bond was set at $100,000 for the felony charge.
