SUMTER COUNTY, SC (WIS) -A Sumter mother is accused of abusing drugs while pregnant after her newborn son tested positive for drugs.
Sumter County Sheriff's deputies arrested Tyshay Billups, 21, Tuesday. She is charged with unlawful neglect of a child or helpless person.
The Sheriff's Office says on October 28, Billups and her son tested positive to narcotics during a screening exam.
