The operators of Christmas Village in LOVE Park have announced that Thursday's "Lantern Parade" and its associated performances have been canceled due to scheduled protests in connection with the deadly shootings of two unarmed black men by white police officers.
The parade had been set to start at 5 p.m., the same time the Ferguson National Response Network has called for a demonstration. - Inquirer staff
