Obama’s Plan to Build Facility to Implement Illegal Amnesty Revealed

It seems that President Obama had a plan to build and staff a brand new facility in Virginia with the hopes to secretly and immediately begin implementing Amnesty for illegal aliens, which he authorized right before making his announcement to violate constitutional law, refuse to enforce the existing immigration laws, and ignore his oath as the chief law enforcement officer of our nation on November 20.

Since the US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) was so excited about their brand new facility commissioned by President Barack Obama, they released the job postings to immediately fill the roles to staff it. In fact, they announced they wanted to staff it with 1,000 people to process 5 million illegal aliens under Amnesty. They even put out a bulletin on USAJobs.

USCIS is taking steps to open a new operational center in  Crystal City, a neighborhood in Arlington, Virginia, to accommodate about 1,000 full-time, permanent federal and contract employees in a variety of positions and grade levels.
The initial workload will include cases filed as a result of the executive actions on immigration announced on Nov. 20, 2014.

One of the senior members of the Senate Budget Committee (who is also a senior member of the Senate Judiciary Committee), Senator Jeff Sessions (R-AL), was not amused at the Senate’s discovery of this facility or President Obama once again spending money without congressional approval. On December 3, he released this statement:

“It has just been discovered today that the Obama Administration is now opening a new USCIS facility in Crystal City, Virginia, for the purpose of immediately implementing the President’s imperial immigration decree. They are in the process of hiring 1,000 full-time staff to quickly approve applications for the President’s illegal amnesty, which will provide work permits, photo IDs, Social Security, and Medicare to illegal immigrants—all benefits rejected by Congress. This action will mean that American workers, their sons, their daughters, their parents, will now have to compete directly for jobs, wages, and benefits with millions of illegal immigrants.

This facility is a clear symbol of the President’s defiance of the American people, their laws, and their Constitution. He is hiring federal employees to carry out a directive that violates the laws Congress has passed in order to foist on the nation laws Congress has repeatedly refused to pass.

Some have suggested that implementing this amnesty would not have a financial cost, but this action unmistakably demonstrates otherwise. Moreover, the USCIS employees themselves have made plain that taxpayers will be on the hook, warning through their union that the agency is an ‘approval machine’ that will ‘rubber stamp’ applications for amnesty.

Year after year, our annual spending bills include numerous restrictions on how federal money can and cannot be spent. Congress funds programs that are worthy and does not fund programs it deems unworthy. The President cannot spend money unless the Congress approves it, and certainly the Congress should not approve funds for an illegal amnesty.

The new White House press spokesman was caught saying to the press that the President is willing to shut down the government (again) if his unlawful amnesty was not funded in the budget. He also “warns” of any Congressional limits on the President’s unlawful plan, despite the fact that Congress is the only body of government that can “reform” immigration or pass any immigration law, according to the very Constitution he swore to uphold.

Now we have the Obama Administration building and staffing a building for these 5 million illegal aliens, again without a Congressional budget or funding approved. Obama stated that he was ignoring rule of law and refusing to enforce the law to arrest or deport these illegals in his November 20th speech.

Seventeen US states led by Texas are suing the federal government for breach of the Constitution and executive over-reach. The people have spoken, yet this President continues to violate his very oath of office and cares more for 5 million illegal aliens than US Citizens. Now, isn’t it time for Congress, who are supposed to be representatives of the people, to step up and do something about it?
