NEW YORK – Singer Miley Cyrus has submitted a video in the first edition of the Porn Film festival in New York that will run from Feb. 27 to March 1.
The video with a sadomasochistic tone is called “Tongue Tied” and made its debut on the internet in May, press reports said Monday.
It will be screened on the first day of the festival.
A scantily-clad Cyrus features in the black and white Quentin Jones-directed video and is very much in line with the aesthetic the former Disney star has followed.
The “Wrecking Ball” singer, who will not be attending the festival, heard about it from a friend and decided to submit her video, festival founder Simon Leahy told the New York Post.
“It’s a pop take on S&M,” said Leahy, adding that, “She’s starting to become more of a contemporary artist.”
The aim of the festival, according to its website, is to give value to adult cinema as an important art form from the social and cultural perspective.
Along with contemporary artists, pornography professionals and fans will also participate in the competition.
Their videos will be screened at the Secret Project Robot in the borough of Brooklyn.
