In 2011 President Obama Made the Case for His Own Impeachment Over Today's Actions

Remind me, if you would, which article of the Constitution authorizes the president to declare valid laws null and void. As CDN reminds us, President Obama himself said he did not have the power to stop deporting illegal immigrants by Executive Order as recently as last year.

President Obama’s executive order to halt the deportation of certain illegal immigrants, essentially ignoring separation of powers and legislating from the executive, is sure to be called a cynical act of “pandering” in an election year. But it is far, far worse than that...

New soot limits may squeeze Houston

Houston, long known for smog, could be in trouble with federal regulators soon for another type of air pollution, one that may be more harmful than ozone.

The Environmental Protection Agency on Friday proposed stricter limits for tiny particles commonly known as soot, that could hit Harris County for the first time. The new standards could require cleaner refineries, factories and operations along the Ship Channel if the area is found out of compliance, as it is for smog, or ozone.

Obama Lurching Toward Tyranny

As reported at The Daily Caller, in one of President Obama's campaign speeches this week he said that "Republicans are 'in favor of a no-holds barred, government is the enemy, market is everything approach.'"

This comes from the man who in a speech to Latinos once referred to Republicans as "the enemy."

Constitutional conservatives, who decry big government more than establishment Republicans, consider tyranny as the enemy. Government that increasingly violates the Constitution under Republicans or Democrats is, in measure, increasingly tyrannical...

Allen West’s Thoughts Regarding Obama’s Executive Order On Illegals

Dear Patriot,

Greetings to our Constituents, fellow Floridians, and all Americans.

As I am writing this today, I really cannot believe that President Barack Obama and his administration have failed to grasp the three fundamental premises of our Constitutional Republic: representative democracy, limited government, and separation of powers (recognizing the maxim of co-equality of branches of the Federal Government).

I say that because Friday we received another surprise from the Obama Administration. At around 9:30 am, my BlackBerry buzzed as I was wrapping up speaking to the Palm Beach business forum. Once outside, I checked my messages to find, to my absolute amazement, that Secretary of Homeland Security, Janet Napolitano, would be announcing, effective immediately, that certain young people who were brought to the United States as young children (who do not present a risk to national security or public safety and meet several key criteria) will be considered for relief from removal from the country or from entering into removal proceedings.

There were five criteria given:

1) Came to the United States under the age of 16;

2) Have continuously resided in the United States for at least five years;

3) Are currently in school, have graduated from high school, have obtained a general education development certificate, or are honorably discharged veterans of the Coast Guard or Armed Forces of the United States; (I find this rather confusing as one cannot join and have an honorable discharge from the Coast Guard or Armed Services as an illegal immigrant)

4) Have not been convicted of a felony offense, a significant misdemeanor offense, multiple misdemeanor offenses, or otherwise pose a threat to national security or public safety;

5) Are not above the age of thirty.

This is yet another example of Executive Branch overreach. We have a legislative process that ensures representative governance by the consent of the American people. This action should be crafted into legislation, debated in committee and brought before the United States House of Representatives and U.S. Senate for vote, in accordance with the process in our Constitutional Republic. Secretary Napolitano is an unelected administrative bureaucrat who does not have the right to make governing decisions for this country.

It is apparent that the goal of the Obama Administration is not to govern, but to rule by edict, or executive order, particularly as November draws near.

I do find it ironic that Secretary Napolitano would not assist our State of Florida with ensuring the integrity of the voting process, but is happy to implement a decision about who can reside in America.

Furthermore, where are the details about how the American economy is going to handle this influx of people? There are currently more than 23 million Americans who are unemployed, underemployed, or just discouraged and no longer accounted for. How will this affect the employment situation in our country, as this policy introduces new competition with Americans for jobs? Will there be any analysis of the economic impact for the American taxpayers who will have to carry this burden? What are the increased demands on additional guaranteed services and will they be guaranteed government benefits? These are the kinds of details that are to be hammered out during the legislative process, and appear to be completely overlooked by the Obama Administration.

Finally, will these young people be allowed to petition for immunity for their illegal immigrant parents as well?

Our constitutional republic was created so one branch of government could not run roughshod over another. If President Obama does not like a certain policy, he must bring the debate to the United States Congress, not attempt to impose it on the country unilaterally. If the American people, through their representative government, reject the DREAM Act, it is not within the enumerated rights of the President to then enact the policy by Executive Order. If that becomes the case, then why have a House of Representatives and a U.S. Senate? There would no longer be any separation of powers, and certainly the Executive Branch would not have any limit in exerting its power.

This decision is not just about relaxing rules or laws for young illegal immigrants, it is about the respect of the foundational principles and values of America, a Constitutional Republic. The precedent established is dangerous and the overreach threatens the fabric of our Nation.

This policy is wrong. If this Administration continues to make decisions without the consent of the governed, the governed always have the ability to rescind their consent.

Waste report: Tax dollars going to Indian reality TV, overseas advertising

According to Coburn’s report, much of the money is used to help multimillion-dollar companies whose budgets could likely afford to pay for the marketing. For instance, Blue Diamond Growers, a big tree nut company, “reported $3.3 billion in sales over the past five years,” meaning, “its annual sales are almost three times the amount USDA spends each year on the entire MAP program. Yet the company has received $28.2 million from MAP since 1999 to market its almonds in foreign countries.

Taxmaggedon – Middle Class Will Be Hardest Hit

When President George W. Bush passed his landmark tax cuts I wasn’t thinking about what the rich were getting. I was thinking about my middle class family. I remember it like it was yesterday. We had our first child that year, and even though we had insurance we still had a bunch of co-pays we had to pay. I got a raise (something that hasn’t happened since Obama was elected) and for the first time in my life when I received my paycheck the entire amount of the raise was included. Every time I ever had a raise before that I would try to calculate what it meant in take-home pay and come up short, or over. That year, it was all in my check. That was nice...

Executive Overreach

President Obama’s claim that he can refuse to deport 800,000 aliens here in the country illegally illustrates the unprecedented stretching of the Constitution and the rule of law. He is laying claim to presidential power that goes even beyond that claimed by the Bush administration, in which I served. There is a world of difference in refusing to enforce laws that violate the Constitution (Bush) and refusing to enforce laws because of disagreements over policy (Obama).

Under Article II, Section 3 of the Constitution, the president has the duty to “take Care that the Laws be faithfully executed.” This provision was included to make sure that the president could not simply choose, as the British King had, to cancel legislation simply because he disagreed with it. President Obama cannot refuse to carry out a congressional statute simply because he thinks it advances the wrong policy. To do so violates the very core of his constitutional duties...

Weekly Enewsletter: An Executive Order You Should Know About

Dear Friend,

With all that is going in Washington these days some things don’t make the news the way they should. Fourteen days ago President Obama issued an Executive Order that you should know about. This order gives an unprecedented level of authority to the President and the federal government to take over all the fundamental parts of our economy - in the name of national security - in times of national emergency.

This means all of our water resources, construction services and materials (steel, concrete, etc.), our civil transportation system, food and health resources, our energy supplies including oil and natural gas – even farm equipment – can be taken over by the President and his cabinet secretaries. The Government can also draft U.S. citizens into the military and force U.S. citizens to fulfill "labor requirements" for the purposes of "national defense." There is not even any Congressional oversight, only briefings are required...

Sheriff Joe: I’ll Keep Arresting Illegals Under Arizona Law Despite Obama Amnesty

If illegal aliens covered by Obama’s lawless amnesty edict are breathing a sigh of relief that they no longer face the legal consequences of their illegal status, they’ll have another thing coming in Maricopa County, Arizona.

Because this is Sheriff Joe’s County, and he will continue to enforce the laws on the books as written.

When asked by a reporter if Arpaio will “help those new immigrants who are here under that provision to feel welcome?” the Sheriff simply said he had no contact with those people and that “I’m going to continue to enforce all our illegal immigration laws.”

In other words, if you are a so-called “Dreamer” in the 4th largest county in America, there is a pair of pink underwear in Tent City with your name on it – Obama amnesty be damned.

Joe also gave his opinion that Obama chose this Friday to spring this surprise on America, as a preemptive strike against the likely upcoming Supreme Court approval of S.B. 1070… MORE HERE>>

GOP delegates sue to be free from Romney

Over 120 delegates to the Republican National Convention have joined a lawsuit against the GOP arguing they have been illegally coerced into choosing Mitt Romney for the party’s presidential nominee and demanding they be “unbound” to vote for another candidate instead.

The federal lawsuit, filed this week in U.S. District Court in California by mostly supporters of Ron Paul, demands the delegates be freed to “vote their conscience” for presidential nominee at the party’s August national convention in Tampa, Fla., rather than being “bound” to vote for a certain candidate, as many state party bylaws require, based on the primary elections and other delegate selection procedures...

The Myth of the Good Conservative

Democrats and the journalists who love them play a similar game with Republicans and conservatives. “Oh, I have lots of respect for conservatives,” goes the typical line, “but the conservatives we’re being served today are just so different. Why can’t we have Republicans and conservatives like we used to?”

Romney’s “Bold” Statement on Obama’s Illegal Administrative Amnesty

Call me naive, but I was expecting top Republicans to come out with both guns blazing against Obama’s outrageous and illegal administrate amnesty that was announced earlier today. Yet, nine hours after the announcement, there is still no major press release from a member of GOP leadership in either the House or Senate.

What about Mitt Romney? After waiting until half the day was over Romney issued the following statement (via CNN):

Does Unequal Mean Unfair

If you and I have different incomes, is that unfair? Strange as it may seem, the chattering class is full of people who think equality and fairness are the same thing. Conversely, they assume that inequality of income is unfairness, per se.

In a study for the National Center for Policy Analysis (NCPA), economist David Henderson demolishes this notion. Most inequality, Henderson shows, is the result of choices people make — including the choice to work — not the result of unfairness or accidental events over which people have no control....

Dictator Obama grants amnesty to 800,000 illegal aliens

WASHINGTON (AP) — President Barack Obama says his plan to stop deporting younger illegal immigrants who came to the U.S. as children will make the system "more fair, more efficient and more just."

The president says it "makes no sense to expel talented young people" who are essentially Americans. He says he was taking the action in the absence of action by Congress "to fix our broken system."

Obama's election-year initiative should help him among Hispanic voters. It will begin granting young immigrants work permits, affecting as many as 800,000 young people who have lived in fear of deportation.

A man in the Rose Garden asked Obama while he was speaking, "Why do you favor foreigners over American workers?" Obama responded that "this is the right thing to do."

So, what can you do in this new era of “change” to preserve your access to quality health care?

Although it is impossible to avoid the harmful effects of ObamaCare entirely, if you plan wisely and act accordingly you can minimize its effects on you and maximize your chances of receiving quality health care in the future. Toward that end, I offer the following four strategies, two of which pertain directly to your personal arrangements for health care, and two of which pertain to intellectual and political activism. . . .

Infanticide: Connecticut Deems Abortion an ‘Essential Health Benefit’ Under Obamacare

A Connecticut state health panel voted unanimously last week to pass a measure deeming elective abortions an “essential health benefit.” This means that, when the plan takes effect in 2014, abortions of any kind, for any reason, would be covered by state insurnace plans under the Affordable Care Act — a.k.a. Obamacare. Of course, the move has already sparked outrage in certain circles, as well as debate, over its implications.

The Connecticut Mirror explains:

Van Jones‘ Organization Cuts Ad Blaming Conservative Group For Trayvon Martin’s Death

When it comes to political attacks, there are cheap shots, and then there are cheap shots. But the attack in this story defies both categories. In fact, it doesn’t even deserve to be mentioned in the same sentence as cheapness, or shooting.

The Washington Times reports that Van Jones’ organization, Color of Change, has cut an ad designed to target corporate sponsors of the American Legislative Exchange Council (ALEC), a conservative organization that has been in the crosshairs of progressives for quite some time because of its aggressive and successful strategy of pushing model free market legislation. The goal of the ads is to publicly shame corporations into withdrawing their support from ALEC.

Typical progressive tactics, you might think, but in this case, they go far further. You see, one particular ad that Color of Change ran against Johnson and Johnson stoops to a level so unbelievably low that it has to be heard to be believed. Listen here. HHS Inks $20 Million Contract to Sell Obamacare to Skeptical Public

The Department of Health and Human Services has inked a $20 million contract with a top public-relations firm to sell aspects of the Obamacare law to the American public.

According to a report in PR Week, HHS’s Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services has awarded the contract to PR firm Porter Novelli. The firm has offices worldwide, and boasts PepsiCo, Hewlett Packard, and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention as existing clients.

According to The Hill, the Porter Novelli campaign is “designed to educate the public about how to stay healthy and prevent illnesses.” It will do so by highlighting provisions of Obamacare.

The PR push is part of a sustained effort to try to sell the unpopular Obamacare law to the American public. Last year, HHS asked Congress to quadruple the budget for its public affairs office – to nearly $20 million – and nearly double the size of the office’s staff. The department insisted the changes were necessary to “help Americans understand and access their benefits and information under the law.”

A Freedom of Information Act request filed by the group Judicial Watch last year revealed the lengths to which HHS has gone to attempt to sell Obamacare to a skeptical public: KEEP READING>>

Brett Kimberlin and the Justice of Google

On November 19, 1989, the people of Prague, in the former state of Czechoslovakia, gathered to commemorate a massacre of Czech students by Nazi Germany fifty years earlier. By the end of the day, the gathering turned into a demonstration against a ruling Communist government that had begun massacring Czechs and Slovaks from virtually the moment the Nazis were booted out. By December 29, 1989, without a shot fired, the protesters had driven out their Communist masters, electing poet, playwright, and political prisoner Vaclav Havel as interim President. This peaceful revolt by a peaceful people against their Stalinist puppet government became known as the “Velvet Revolution”.

On November 30, 2004, convicted terrorist bomber, drug dealer, and perjurer Brett Kimberlin formed a Maryland corporation for the purpose of soliciting tax-exempt donations from the public and charitable foundations, to promote an alleged “network of more than 100 progressive organizations reaching millions of people demanding progressive change through our various campaigns”. Campaigns such as offering bounties for the head of the Chamber of Commerce, the impeachment of a Supreme Court Justice, and proof that John Kerry actually won the 2004 presidential election.

Federal Reserve Board Members Gave Their Own Banks $4 Trillion in Bailouts

Following the 2008 financial crisis, the Federal Reserve provided more than $4 trillion in near zero-interest loans and other help to banks and businesses whose executives also served as directors for the national bank.

At least 18 current and former Fed regional bank directors had a direct stake in the trillion-dollar bailout given to teetering institutions, according to a report produced by the Government Accountability Office, but released by Senator Bernie Sanders (I-Vermont).

“This report reveals the inherent conflicts of interest that exist at the Federal Reserve,” Sanders said in a prepared statement. “At a time when small businesses could not get affordable loans to create jobs, the Fed was providing trillions in secret loans to some of the largest banks and corporations in America that were well represented on the boards of the Federal Reserve Banks.”

Sanders wants to end the potential conflicts of interest that come with having bank executives serving on the Fed’s boards. The senator introduced legislation in May that would prohibit banking industry and business executives from serving as directors of the Fed’s 12 regional banks.

To bolster his case, Sanders cited the example of Jamie Dimon, chief executive officer of JPMorgan Chase. A director of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York since 2007, Dimon was part of the Fed’s leadership when it approved $391 billion in emergency funds to JPMorgan Chase to help it through the Wall Street chaos.

In another example, Jeffrey Immelt, the CEO of General Electric, was a member of the New York Federal Reserve when it created the Commercial Paper Funding Facility, which then lent $16 billion to…General Electric.

Police in Pakistan Decline to Prosecute Rape/Beating Suspects (because victims are Christian)

Officers refuse to arrest Muslims accused of beating Christian woman, causing miscarriage.
LAHORE, Pakistan, June 12 (CDN) — Police have refused to arrest Muslims accused of causing the miscarriage of twin girls by beating their mother, even though a judge cancelled the suspects’ interim bails, according to the woman’s husband.

Officers in Punjab Province’s Narowal district are biased in siding with Muslims accused of causing the miscarriage and of gang-raping the mother’s 13-year-old Christian niece, said Asher Masih, uncle of the girl and husband of the mother. The gang beat the mother, Nosheen Masih, and other relatives to pressure them into dropping the rape charges, Masih said.

Milestone: Obama’s 100th golf round -- President putters while economy sputters

The next time President Obama hits the links, it will be his 100th round of golf since coming to the White House. That’s quite a milestone in just 3 1/2 years. Meanwhile, the U.S. economy has been stuck in a sand trap.

The president probably would prefer it in his campaign coffers. At the Manhattan home of Parker and her husband, Matthew Broderick, Obama raised about $2 million, with 50 people paying $40,000 each to attend...

China forced abortions funded by Obama administration

In the video below, a “family planning” official with the government of Changsha City, in the Chinese province of Hunan, explains how she uses her friendly lieutenants to “persuade” women to have abortions when they exceed the country’s one-child limit. The interview with the official was done last Friday by Bob Fu of the Evangelical Protestant organization China Aid.

The case Mr. Fu is calling about is that of Cao Ruyi, 37, and her husband Li Fu. The two already have a six year old daughter, and now Mrs. Cao is being told she must allow doctors to kill her “illegal baby” (yes, those are the words used by the official) or pay a fine equivalent to $24,000 (four years of wages for the couple) in order to spare his life. She is currently imprisoned at a hospital, where she is surrounded at all times by 10-20 men whose job it is to “persuade” her to have a “voluntary” abortion......

Architect In Diabetic Shock Beaten By Officers, Pepper Sprayed, and Repeatedly Tasered Before Dying

"A disturbing lawsuit has been filed against the Baltimore County Police Department by Linda Johnson over the death of her husband, Architect Carl D. Johnson on May 27, 2010. Johnson was pepper sprayed, tasered, and beaten before his death on the way home from Bible study class."

"Linda Johnson is suing the Maryland State Police, Baltimore County Police, individual commanders and six officers. Her lawsuit claims that her husband suffered a diabetic attack after calling a friend and crashing on I-795. First to the scene was State Trooper Davon Parker who pepper sprayed Johnson after he lowered his window of his car, which had crashed into the median. When Johnson got out of the car, Parker clubbed him on the knee and then allegedly another officer (Loss) clubbed him. When Baltimore County Police Officer Nicholas Wolferman arrived, he also allegedly beat Johnson. Three more officers arrived and one, Baltimore County Officer Andrew O’Neill tasered Johnson twice. Officer Loss then allegedly punched him in the face. Eight more officers then arrived — leaving one wondering if there were any officers left at headquarters. The complaint states that “there were approximately 52 individuals that responded to the scene.”

AS EXPECTED...Want to Live Longer? Move to NYC

While life expectancy in many parts of the United States is dropping, it has increased by 10 years in Manhattan since 1987. Researchers largely attribute that rise — the fastest in the nation — to a crackdown by the New York City health department on unhealthy behaviors.

Manhattanites can now expect to live to the ripe old age of 82, and the average life expectancy across all five New York City boroughs is 80.6 years. That's three years beyond the national average, and a striking turnaround since the city's low point in 1990, when life expectancy there trailed the U.S. average by three years....

State Dept. Video: 'Visit America: It's Easier than You Think'

The only voice in the video is that of President Obama. "We've got the best product to sell," Obama says in a clip taken from a January speech at Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida. "We've got the most entertaining destinations in the world."

A State Department slogan of sorts later flashes on screen, "Department of State: Promoting Security, Welcoming the World."

In the Sixteenth Year of Obama - The Isle of Industry (part 3)

(The two previous parts of this satire can be found here in the Isle of Endless Education and the Isle of Freedom.)

Marc and Julie were surprised to see that there appeared to be little industry on the Isle of Industry. No smokestacks puffing up gray clouds to the horizon, no grinding sounds of machinery at work and no sense of activity at all. Piles of rusted machinery lay near the shore where a few windmills turned dissolutely away from the wind.

The solar-powered train carrying them slowly halted leaving them in an empty station with only a few ticket takers waiting around for nothing in particular. After an hour or two, they began to wander around the premises, but there was nothing to see besides abandoned warehouses, piles of junk and a few people, who might have workers, lounging around. When they tried to talk to a few of them, they were met with the curt reply, "I'm on break......."

RI ACLU says Cranston police illegally took a man's weapons

PROVIDENCE, RI (RIPR) - The Rhode Island affiliate of the American Civil Liberties Union has filed a lawsuit against the Cranston Police Department, charging it with illegally seizing a man's weapons.

The ACLU says the Cranston Police Department violated Robert Machado's due process and Second Amendment rights when they seized his lawfully obtained guns and samurai swords back in September. Police took the guns when they were called to Machado's home on a potential suicide call initiated by a concerned friend. Machado says the friend misinterpreted his comments.

A mental health evaluation cleared Machado of any suicidal tendencies but Cranston police have refused to return his weapons which they say they took for safe keeping. They're telling him he needs a court order to get them back.

The ACLU lawsuit seeks a court order declaring the police department's actions unconstitutional and ordering the return of Machado's weapons.

The Lawyers' Party

The Democratic Party has become the Lawyers' Party. Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton are lawyers. Bill Clinton and Michelle Obama are lawyers. John Edwards, the other former Democrat candidate for president, is a lawyer and so is his wife Elizabeth. Every Democrat nominee since 1984 went to law school (although Gore did not graduate.) Every Democrat vice presidential nominee since 1976, except for Lloyd Bentsen, went to law school. Look at the Democrat Party in Congress: the Majority Leader in each house is a lawyer.

The Republican Party is different. President Bush and Vice President Cheney were not lawyers, but businessmen. The leaders of the Republican Revolution were not lawyers. Newt Gingrich was a history professor; Tom Delay was an exterminator; and Dick Armey was an economist. House Minority Leader Boehner was a plastic manufacturer, not a lawyer. The former Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist is a heart surgeon.

Who was the last Republican president who was a lawyer? Gerald Ford, who left office thirty-one years ago and who barely won the Republican nomination as a sitting president, running against Ronald Reagan in 1976. The Republican Party is made up of real people doing real work. The Democratic Party is made up of lawyers. Democrats mock and scorn men who create wealth, like Bush and Cheney, or who heal the sick like Frist, or who immerse themselves in history like Gingrich.

The Lawyers' Party sees these sorts of people, who provide goods and services that people want, as the enemies of America. And so we have seen the procession of official enemies in the eyes of the Lawyers' Party grow. Against whom do Hillary and Obama rail? Pharmaceutical companies, oil companies, hospitals, manufacturers, fast food restaurant chains, large retail businesses, bankers and anyone producing anything of value in our nation.

This is the natural consequence of viewing everything through the eyes of lawyers. Lawyers solve problems by successfully representing their clients, in this case the American people. Lawyers seek to have new laws passed, they seek to win lawsuits, they press appellate courts to overturn precedent, and lawyers always parse language to favor their side.

Confined to the narrow practice of law, that is fine. But it is an awful way to govern a great nation. When politicians as lawyers begin to view some Americans as clients and other Americans as opposing parties, then the role of the legal system in our life becomes all consuming. Some Americans become "adverse parties" of our very government. We are not all litigants in some vast social class action suit. We are citizens of a republic which promises us a great deal of freedom from laws, from courts, and from lawyers.

Today, we are drowning in laws, we are contorted by judicial decisions, we are driven to distraction by omnipresent lawyers in all parts of our once private lives. America has a place for laws and lawyers, but that place is modest and reasonable, not vast and unchecked. When the most important decision for our next president is whom he will appoint to the Supreme Court, the role of lawyers and the law in America is too big. When lawyers use criminal prosecution as a continuation of politics by other means, as happened in the lynching of Scooter Libby and Tom Delay, then the power of lawyers in America is too great. When House Democrats sue America in order to hamstring our efforts to learn what our enemies are planning to do to use, then the role of litigation in America has become crushing.

We cannot expect the Lawyers' Party to provide real change, real reform or real hope in America. Most Americans know that a republic in which every major government action must be blessed by nine unelected judges is not what Washington intended in 1789. Most Americans grasp that we cannot fight a war when ACLU lawsuits snap at the heels of our defenders. Most Americans intuit that more lawyers and judges will not restore declining moral values or spark the spirit of enterprise in our economy.

Perhaps Americans will understand that change cannot be brought to our nation by those lawyers who already largely dictate American society and business. Perhaps Americans will see that hope does not come from the mouths of lawyers but from personal dreams nourished by hard work. Perhaps Americans will embrace the truth that more lawyers with more power will only make our problems worse.

If a white man with no business experience of any kind, on any level, were elected president and his economic plan increased government spending, increased government intrusion into private business, and increased taxes on the so-called rich–what would criticism of him be because he is white? If this same white president employed failed Keynesian economic strategies which resulted in his increasing our total national debt more than the first 41 presidents combined, in less than three years of his first term in office–would criticism of him be because he is white?....

Actual Obama Radio Ad

Are we living in the 70′s again, where “groovy” was a common phrase? If this is what Obama is using to convince the black community that he is still the “one”, then his campaign is in the dumpster.

Weasel Zippers added the video to an ACTUAL RADIO AD. I work in this business, and this is one of the worst radio ads I’ve ever heard in my life. Weasel’s video makes the ad even more comical than I thought it already was. Thanks, Zip!

Obama’s early Chicago rise brought African-Americans foreclosures, bankruptcies

President Barack Obama wants his 2012 re-election campaign to focus on Gov. Mitt Romney’s private-sector record, but his own private-sector history shows that he promoted and profited from the nation’s disastrous real-estate bubble. One striking example comes from the president’s 1995 housing-discrimination class action lawsuit: It provided him with legal fees, greased his political donations and boosted his role in Chicago politics.

While he made personal gains, his lead African-American client, Selma Buycks-Roberson, declared bankruptcy in 2001 — and again in 2008 as she received a home foreclosure notice, according to unpublicized federal and city records obtained by The Daily Caller....

Uh-oh: Occupy Independence coming July 4

Two weeks ago on Memorial Day my fellow tea partiers remarked, "Don't forget the troops who made the ultimate sacrifice for our nation," while adding that it was okay to have fun at barbecues.

For July 4, the Occupy Movement is planning a nationwide event called Occupy Independence. Will they utilize barbecue fires for American flag burnings? The "mostly peaceful" protesters burned two flags in Charlotte last year, and for three successive weeks this winter they burned Old Glory in Oakland.

It's all part of Occupy National Gathering. Right now the group is nothing but a Twitter hashtag, #natgat.

HUD Spending $70 Million to Teach Grant Recipients How to Spend Money They Already Have

(CNSNews.com) – At one federal agency, it takes money to spend money. The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development recently announced it is spending $70 million to improve the way its grant recipients spend billions in taxpayer cash.

Most of the $70 million will go to consulting companies that provide “technical assistance” to HUD-funded communities and non-profit organizations. The consultants will help the communities and nonprofits “improve their use of federal funds to revitalize neighborhoods, help the homeless and produce more affordable housing,” a May 15 new release said.

CNSNews.com asked a HUD official, “If I’m reading this correctly, this is a grant to teach people how to spend money they already have?”

“Absolutely,” responded HUD spokesman Brian Sullivan...... READ THE ENTIRE STORY>>

Five Dead, 35 Wounded in Chicago Weekend Bloodbath, Community Organizer-in-Chief Unavailable for Comment

We imagine if someone dared to ask Obama about the latest bloodbath in his hometown he’d utter something idiotic like “everyone’s doing fine” or something like that. Or he’d blame the guns instead of all the hoodlums who could look like his son.

You know, it might be time to call in the National Guard. Obviously Obama’s person of hench Rahm Emanuel is in over his head.

Adbusters Admits OWS Flopped; Now Promoting 'Flash Encampments'

The Occupy Wall Street movement was first proposed by the leftwing Canadian magazine, Adbusters. However, now even they are forced to admit the obvious about the failure of their creation which you can read in their sad OWS obituary:

Burned out, out of money, out of ideas… seduced by salaries, comfy offices, book deals, old lefty cash and minor celebrity status, some of the most prominent early heroes of our leaderless uprising are losing the edge that catalyzed last year’s one thousand encampments. Bit by bit, Occupy’s first generation is succumbing to an insidious institutionalization and ossification that could be fatal to our young spiritual insurrection unless we leap over it right now. Putting our movement back on track will take nothing short of a revolution within Occupy.

Your humble correspondent begs your pardon for this comparison but does the preceding Adbusters quote not sound eerily similar to this declaration by Bela Lugosi as Dr. Eric Vornoff in that epic film, Bride of the Monster?

Home? I have no home. Hunted, despised, Living like an animal! The jungle is my home. But I will show the world that I can be its master! I will perfect my own race of people. A race of atomic supermen which will conquer the world! Ha ha ha ha ha ha!

And what is the Adbusters version of "a race of atomic supermen which will conquer the world?" An equally unrealistic solution as called "flash encampments" as Adbusters explains:

The next big bang to capture the world’s imagination could come not from a thousand encampments but from a hundred thousand ephemeral jams… a global cascade of flash encampments may well be what this hot Summer will look like.

Newsbusted: First Lady Says Racism Will Be Part of Campaign if Needed

Ever since he hit the national scene every criticism of Barack Obama has been labeled as racism by the President's supporters. In most cases the racism charges are thrown out to distract attention away from another failed Obama policy (although in the case of Morgan Freeman it was evidence of the beginnings of dementia).

According to this special report from Newsbusted anchor Jodi Miller, First Lady Michelle Obama has told Barbara Walters that the campaign will only use the race card if absolutely necessary.

Other news items covered in the latest installment of Newsbusted the twice-weekly faux news feature from Newsbusters.org include; most American's believe the war on women is a bogus issue, the pentagon's new study which is essentially a study of the study which studied its studies, the White House reaction to Condeleezza Rice's endorsement of Mitt Romney, and much, much, more.

So make sure to watch the video below. You don't want to happen to you what happened to the guy who forgot to press play last week, the President blamed them for the unemployment rate.

So remember to press play now..you will enjoy the video below, and if you cannot see it please click here
