Lying on Internet a Felony?

Lying on the Internet a Felony? The Terrifying New Computer Fraud Act
ITHP WIRE: September 16th 2011 1:19 PM

If you voted for Obama thinking real change was going to come than it's finally time to admit to yourself you were dead wrong. I think after 10,000 years of human existence one thing is still clear. The people who rule usually get there and stay there by any means possible.

Right now your leaders are attempting to upgrade crimes usually charged as misdemeanors in the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act, to be charged as felonies.

So what constitutes a felony under this draconian act. Well according to Orin S. Kerr, a former federal prosecuter, law professor, and guest writer to the Wall Street Journal; a lot.

The Fraud Act may make anything that "exceeds authorized access" a felony. If this doesn't sound terrifying than you might want to think again.

To Mr. Kerr this means a lot of things. Lying on Social Media, accessing anything on the Internet that your boss doesn't want you to such as Facebook, even saying your 6 foot on a dating site when your really 5'11. Will prosecutors actually charge a person who has violated this disgusting law? Well will just have to find out. But judging from the ludicrous charges prosecutors bring against ordinary American's I wouldnt be suprised. They're just doing their jobs.
