Beaver County prosecutors on Friday added four counts against Beaver County Sheriff George David to reflect that he's accused of intimidating two people.
David faces charges of obstruction of justice and three counts of intimidation against each person, prosecutors said. Previously, one count of obstruction and three counts of intimidation had been filed.
State police accuse David of keeping deputies Mike Tibolet and Tom Ochs “from truthfully reporting David's wrongdoing” regarding David's dealings with John Paul Vranesevich, the operator of a website.
Mercer County Senior Judge Francis J. Fornelli continued Friday's hearing, which was convened to discuss trial issues, until Feb. 10. David's trial is scheduled to begin Feb. 24.
