UCLA’s Mosque is Thinking Outside the Box [Plans to build mosque at UCLA]

...Students and Alumni at the University of California in Los Angeles have started a campaign to build a masjid bordering their school to serve the needs of the Muslim population on campus. The idea isn’t uncommon, simply strolling around the periphery of the university one notices about a dozen churches and chapels, all supporting various campus-affiliated religious groups. One such building was recently commissioned by the archdiocese of the Catholic Church.
