(Modern Tokyo Times) - President Obama, John Kerry, John McCain and Lindsey Graham are all peddling the anti-Syrian government line and now they have a beloved “red line,” whereby they can assist the Syrian Muslim Brotherhood and various al-Qaeda terrorist groups. Of course, when Carla del Ponte stated earlier this year that the United Nations believed that terrorist forces had used chemical weapons; then, of course, this was conveniently ignored by America, France, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Turkey and the United Kingdom. Similarly, it appears that Obama, Kerry, McCain and Graham don’t believe in a red line when it applies to al-Qaeda affiliates, the Free Syrian Army (FSA) and other terrorist forces.
This reality means that unlike the doubts which remain over the chemical issue – the stark reality of vast numbers of videos showing barbaric massacres by al-Qaeda affiliates and the FSA are realities. In other words, for Obama, Kerry, McCain and Graham, and many others who are assisting sectarian and terrorist forces; they don’t have any red lines for cleansing Christians, killing Alawites, children being killed for blasphemy, raping women, slaughtering the Shia, beheading civilians, killing Syrian women who refuse to marry jihadists and so forth. Indeed, the so-called opposition can even kidnap Christian bishops and kill Christian priests because nothing stops America, France and the United Kingdom from providing propaganda for the FSA and various al-Qaeda forces.
Senator Ted Cruz (R-Texas) comments that “We should be focused on defending the United States of America. That’s why young men and women sign up to join the military, not to, as you know, serve as Al Qaeda’s air force.”
Ted Cruz also stated “I’ll give you one of the simplest principles of foreign policy that we ought to be following: Don’t give weapons to people who hate you…..Don’t give weapons to people who want to kill you.”
The unholy Western trinity is supported by the unholy Middle East trinity of Qatar, Saudi Arabia and Turkey. Of course, you don’t expect much from Saudi Arabia where all non-Muslim faiths are illegal and converting to Christianity may lead to your death. Also, in draconian Saudi Arabia very old men can marry little girls of 9 and 10 and women face being punished if they don’t cover up from head to toe. Similarly, you don’t expect much from feudal Qatar which appears to adore supporting terrorism and endorsing the Muslim Brotherhood (like the Obama administration). Sadly, the same applies to the elites in Turkey because the Erdogan government is crushing all progressive forces in this nation.
However, why no red lines for various terrorist, sectarian and mercenary forces in Syria when it comes to America, France and the United Kingdom? At no point did the three above countries put pressure on Gulf nations and Turkey for assisting brutal anti-Syrian forces. In other words, cleansing Alawites, Christians and the Shia is fine and the same applies to destroying Christian churches and mosques. Therefore, the gang rape of Christian women, videos of killing children deemed apostates and other barbaric massacres all fall under any red line. What does this say for the morality of political leaders who openly support the bombing of Syria?
Dennis Kucinich, a politician and political analyst from America, comments about the situation whereby the Obama administration wants to assist sectarian and terrorist forces in Syria. He states “So what, we’re about to become Al-Qaeda’s air force now……This is a very, very serious matter that has broad implications internationally. And to try to minimize it by saying we’re just going to have a ‘targeted strike’ — that’s an act of war. It’s not something to be trifled with.”
Senator Rand Paul (R-Ky) in America also made it clear that he doesn’t support any side in the conflict and he is no supporter of the government of Syria. However, Rand Paul knows the difference between the government of Bashar al-Assad whereby minorities are protected – compared with sectarian forces which are intent on crushing all minorities and persecuting pro-government Sunni Muslims. He stated that the Syrian government “has protected Christians for a number of decades” however “Islamic rebels…have been attacking Christians” and they are allies of various al-Qaeda affiliates.
Clearly, Christians and all religious minorities co-exist in government controlled areas in Syria and this reality is in stark contrast to areas under sectarian and al-Qaeda affiliates. Obviously, if the population in Damascus believed that the FSA and various other forces were based on democracy, religious pluralism and rights for women; then the capital city would have witnessed a major revolt and people would have fled to opposition held areas. Yet this never happened. On the contrary, religious minorities have fled to government controlled areas because they only feel protected by the armed forces of Syria. This is only natural because the armed forces of Syria are multi religious and represent the rich mosaic of Syria which is fighting against brutal sectarianism.
Images of the FSA and al-Qaeda affiliates teaching children to behead Syrian soldiers and partaking in murdering pro-government civilians aren’t deemed to be red lines. Cleansing Alawites, the Shia and Christians also isn’t deemed to be a red line. Likewise, car bombings, beheading anyone deemed pro-government and killing children on video also appears to be acceptable. Indeed, even when the UN pointed the finger at anti-Syrian government forces for using chemical weapons this also wasn’t deemed to be a red line.
Carla del Ponte, UN human rights investigator, pointed the finger at terrorist forces when another false flag was raised. She stated several months ago that “We still have to deepen our investigation, verify and confirm (the findings) through new witness testimony, but according to what we have established so far, it is at the moment opponents of the regime who are using sarin gas.”
In other words, any barbarity committed by various al-Qaeda affiliates, the FSA and other terrorist groups in Syria is either welcomed, swept under the carpet or it means the same forces will obtain more funding and training from the enemies of this country. All in all, so-called opposition forces can gang rape Christian girls, use chemicals, behead people, cut open Syrian soldiers, murder Alawites, kill pro-Sunni Muslim clerics, kidnap Christian bishops and other brutal realities. After all, the red line only applies to the side which is protecting minorities therefore Gulf petrodollars can openly support barbarity – while NATO Turkey is a conduit for military arms and international jihadists.
Only compliant media groups could peddle the spin emanating from the Obama administration and which is being endorsed by France, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Turkey and the United Kingdom.
