William Golladay, 77, was charged with battery after getting upset over two too many items in the express lane.
A disabled Florida man got a beat down from an elderly wacko Walmart customer who freaked out after the wheelchair-bound man used the express checkout lane to purchase more than 20 items.
William Golladay, 77, whacked Walmart customer John Malherbe, 65, repeatedly with a shopping cart after Malherbe bought 22 — instead of the maximum 20 — items in the Punta Gorda store’s checkout aisle.

John Malherbe was in an electric wheelchair when he says he was attacked by a 77-year-old man in Walmart.
The register rage started when Golladay began to count, out loud, the number of items Malherbe had to purchase as they waited in line, WZVN-TV reported.
“He kept screaming about too many groceries and stuff,” Malherbe told the station. “And I said, ‘What?’ I think it was the shock, of ‘What? Are you serious?’ And I kept asking my wife, ‘What?!’”

John Malherbe, 65, who recently had knee surgery, was attacked by William Golladay, 77, after going to Walmart express lane with too many items.
Malherbe was sitting in an electric wheelchair because of recent knee surgery. But that didn’t stop the frustrated, and anal-retentive, Golladay from ramming the man with his cart, bruising his arm.
“I’m getting the hell away from here,” Malherbe said incredulously. “What the hell is this?”

The Walmart in Punta Gorda, Florida was where things got out of hand in the express checkout.
An off-duty officer witnessed the battery and restrained the upset elderly man.
“He wasn’t going to quit,” Malherbe told the TV station.
Cops were able to cuff Golladay, who had only three items, and charge him with battery.
