Common sense in gun decisions a good thing(OR)
I read with sober interest the Feb. 9 editorial, "If you want to get a gun for safety, be sure you think things through." This is sensible, sound, moral advice. People who jump through the hoops, pay the required fees, submit to fingerprinting and a criminal background check, have legitimate reason to obtain a concealed carry permit. These are safety-minded autonomous citizens who rightly don't want to be an unarmed victim being crucially vulnerable to predatory criminals.
