Woman pleads guilty in “training kids to like sex” case

12/10/2014

A 42-year-old woman from Edcouch pled guilty in a child sex offering investigation led by the FBI.
Lydia Vasquez admitted she enticed a man to come to the Rio Grande Valley from Michigan by offering him sex with two children, including a newborn, the U.S. Attorney’s office said.
If the child thought the man was going too far, then Vasquez would have sex with him, a criminal complaint filed in federal court states.
The man was an FBI Confidential Human Source who had been in contact with the woman through text messages and phone calls.
Vasquez is facing a federal charge of enticing an individual to travel in interstate commerce in order to engage in illicit sexual activity, prosecutors announced on Friday.
The Edcouch woman offered a 12-year-old and a newborn to “train sexually”, according to court records.
She wanted him to “train the baby from birth, so that the baby would enjoy sex”, federal documents say.
Vasquez also wanted the unknown man to use milk and honey explicitly so that they would become used to performing the sexual acts by the time they were older, records show.
Earlier this year, Vasquez was to meet with the unknown man at a local airport.
That’s when she was arrested by the FBI.
Vasquez currently remains in custody of the FBI, and she faces up to 20 years in prison.
A hearing in the case has been set for Feb. 18, 2015.
