Blasphemy: One Nation Under Allah

06/26/2013

Can you be religiously Neutral?

It just can’t happen. Religion is at our very core; and if we will not honor the true and living God as God, then we will fill that vacuum with a false god. Exhibit A: Rocky Mountain High School in Colorado. Outrage is building over the fact that students were encouraged to recite the Pledge of Allegiance over the loudspeaker in Arabic, replacing “one nation under God” with “one nation under Allah.”

Screw ObamaPhones, The New Immigration Bill has ObamaCars for Youth!

06/26/2013

Breitbart News has learned there is a provision included in the immigration bill that could be used to give free cars, motorcycles, scooters or other vehicles to young people around the country over a period of 15 months after the bill passes. The new provision is a result of the latest addition to the Corker-Hoeven amendment, which is essentially an entirely new version of the bill.

The Washington Examiner’s Byron York uncovered the new Obama stimulus program that Gang of Eight members and other Senate Republicans inserted into the bill as a sweetheart deal for liberal Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT). The left leaning Senator was previously critical of the legislation.

“The original Gang bill ended with a section designated Title IV, which was headlined REFORMS TO NON-IMMIGRANT VISA PROGRAMS,” York wrote on Sunday. “The Hoeven-Corker version of the bill added a Title V, with the headline JOBS FOR YOUTH. The measure would provide $1.5 billion in the next two years to provide jobs for Americans between the ages of 16 and 24. It was originally pushed by Democratic Sen. Bernard Sanders, who wanted to come to the aid of young workers who were ‘hard hit by the Wall Street-caused recession.’ Now, Sanders says immigration reform will further damage youth job prospects.”

A provision under that new stimulus program title allows for the use of spending the taxpayer money on the program to provide transportation for youth to and from their jobs.

AS PART OF MULTICULTURAL WEEK STUDENTS FROM 21 PRIMARY SCHOOLS VISIT LOCAL MOSQUE TO LEARN ALL ABOUT ISLAM(UK)

06/26/2013

Think the same schools will take the muslim kids to a synagogue? A Catholic Church and make them get baptized? How about a lecture by Sam Harris or Richard Dawkins, which in fact really should be part of the curricula.

Neeli Mosque held its annual primary schools week long programme last week - 21 primary schools from across the borough took part.
Each school visit went through some basic fundamental beliefs of Islam in a "fun and interactive way" followed by a tour of the Mosque which highlights some of the key functions and features within the building.
Ruhel Khan, Primary Schools Programme Coordinator said: “The Primary School Programme 2013 was a massive success; this was our sixth year and each year seems to get bigger and better."
The programme took almost six months of planning and the demand for places is getting higher each year with all the allocated slots being taken up several weeks before the start of the programme.
From the launch in 2008 to present, more than 5,000 children have taken part in the Primary Schools Programme.
Mosque Secretary Imran Ahmed said: “The mosque has a responsibility of educating the wider community on Islam especially with the current climate and our Schools Programme is just one of the many initiatives we take..”

THE SUN - MUSLIMS SUPPORT "I.E.D" MOB!

06/26/2013

A MUSLIM group accused of vigilantism and backed by hate preacher Anjem Choudary has been flooded with calls of support.

Islamic Emergency Defence — which pledges to defend Muslims in a “swift and Islamic manner” — has seen splinter groups rise up in Blackburn, Luton and East London.

Its website gives an “emergency hotline” number for Muslims to report attacks rather than call police.

One IED member said he would not be afraid to stand up to people who were anti-Muslim.

Call handler Abu Zakariyyah said: “We aren’t trying to do assassinations but if we witness someone being attacked it is our duty as a Muslim to protect them.”

The secretive London-based group have welcomed fanatical preacher Choudary’s support. Abu said: “Anjem Choudary is an admirable person and he is one of a group of people we have consulted.”

He defended the initials IED — which also stand for Improvised Explosive Device, a deadly bomb used against British troops in Iraq and Afghanistan — adding: “It doesn’t mean anything evil.”

Obama Sends U.S. Troops to Prop Up Morsi, Muslim Brotherhood

06/26/2013

In yet another remarkable display of Obama’s determination to secure the Middle East for Islamofascists, 400 U.S. troops will reportedly be deployed to Egypt to augment the police force of Islamist President Mohamed Morsi. They will be part of a 13-country force stationed in Egypt in anticipation of protests, scheduled for June 30th, calling for the removal of Morsi. Curiously, whereas Obama readily threw former Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak under the bus in 2011, the White House is now eager to defend the regime of Morsi, who, like his Muslim Brotherhood sponsors, is well on his way to imposing the Saudi Arabian model of governance on Egypt.

Bit by Bit Strategy

06/26/2013

There's a move on to prohibit Washington's football team from calling itself "Redskins," even though a 2009 U.S. Supreme Court decision said that it has that right. Now the name change advocates are turning to the political arena and intimidation. The NCAA has already banned the University of North Dakota from calling its football team the "Fighting Sioux."

This is the classic method of busybodies and tyrants; they start out with something trivial or small and then magnify and extend it. If these people are successful in banning the use of Indian names for football teams, you can bet the rent money that won't end their agenda. Our military has a number of fighting aircraft named with what busybodies and tyrants might consider racial slights, such as the Apache, Iroquois, Kiowa, Lakota and Mescalero. We also have military aircraft named after animals, such as the Eagle, Falcon, Raptor, Cobra and Dolphin. The people fighting against the Redskins name might form a coalition with the PETA animal rights kooks to ban the use of animal names.

Snowden Possibly to Remain in Russia - WikiLeaks

06/26/2013

MOSCOW, June 26 - The whistleblowing organization WikiLeaks said on its Twitter feed on Wednesday that former CIA employee Edward Snowden, wanted by the United States for leaking state secrets, may be permanently stuck in Russia.

“Cancelling Snowden's passport and bullying intermediary countries may keep Snowden permanently in Russia,” WikiLeaks said on its Twitter feed, but did not specify the names of intermediary countries.

The United States has issued a warrant for Snowden’s arrest on charges of leaking details of a US surveillance program and cancelled his US passport, which Washington says should prevent him from traveling internationally.

Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Tuesday that Snowden, whose whereabouts had been the subject of international speculation for the past two days, was in the transit area of a Moscow airport.

WikiLeaks earlier said that its representative Sarah Harrison accompanied Snowden on a plane from Hong Kong to Moscow on Sunday.

U.S. training al Qaeda-tied Syrian rebels at secret bases

06/26/2013

WASHINGTON -- Since late last year, the CIA has been training small numbers of Syrian rebels at secret bases in Turkey and Jordan, CBS News has confirmed.

The training has included the use of anti-tank and anti-aircraft weapons, which have been provided by Arab countries, and which the rebels say they badly need to counter the firepower of the Syrian army.

So far, you'd have to say the training hasn't succeeded, since in the past several weeks, the tide of battle has turned in favor of the government forces.

Russian foreign minister: Mixed U.S. signals could derail Syria peace conference
Watch: Joint military exercises in Jordan send signal to Assad
Obama: "Very easy to slip-slide" into deeper Syrian involvement

The vicious conflict began more than two years ago when rebels rose up against the dictatorship of Bashar Assad. More than 90,000 people have been killed, and more than a million have been forced from their homes.

The White House announced last week that it would supply military support to the rebels seeking to overthrow Syrian President Bashar Assad. The announcement came after the administration concluded the regime used chemical weapons against the rebels.

Mother, two daughters honor murdered over video of them enjoying the rain

06/26/2013

Muslims commit 91 percent of honor killings worldwide. A manual of Islamic law certified as a reliable guide to Sunni orthodoxy by Al-Azhar University, the most respected authority in Sunni Islam, says that "retaliation is obligatory against anyone who kills a human being purely intentionally and without right." However, "not subject to retaliation" is "a father or mother (or their fathers or mothers) for killing their offspring, or offspring's offspring." ('Umdat al-Salik o1.1-2). In other words, someone who kills his child incurs no legal penalty under Islamic law.

Could the $70 Million in IRS Bonuses Actually Be “Hush Money”?

Benghazi Murder Scandal Update: House Oversight Committee Subpoenas Four State Dept. Benghazi Witnesses

05/25/2013

House Oversight Committee Chairman Darrell Issa (R-CA) has issued subpoenas for four State Department officials to be deposed in the Benghazi investigation. The four subpoenaed officials headed up bureaus where the ARB (Accountability Review Board) found issues contributing to an unsafe environment during the Benghazi attacks.

The Committee has thus far, only been able to interview one of the thirteen officials they had requested to speak with to date, despite repeated requests to the State Department.

In a letter to Sec. of State John Kerry, Issa wrote: "The Committee has a bipartisan interest in holding a public hearing to examine the Accountability Review Board as soon as possible. Based on the interview schedule that my staff laid out in April, it was my expectation that we would have interviewed a half dozen witnesses at this point."

Issa continues, "The Department has left me with no alternative but to issue subpoenas to compel testimony from these important witnesses."

The following witness were issued subpoenas:

Eric Boswell, Former Assistant Secretary, Bureau of Diplomatic Security

Scott Bultrowicz, Former Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary and Director of the Diplomatic Security Service, Bureau of Diplomatic Security

Elizabeth Dibble, Former Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary, Bureau of Near Eastern Affairs

Taiwan legislators in brawl over tax

TAIPEI — Fighting broke out in Taiwan’s parliament Tuesday as legislators scuffled and threw coffee during a debate on whether a controversial capital gains tax on share trading should be revised less than a year after it was brought in.

Discussions were brought to a virtual standstill after dozens of lawmakers from the ruling Kuomintang party clashed with opposition legislators as both groups tried to seize the chamber’s podium.

TV images broadcast live nationwide showed two angry women legislators scuffling and an opposition parliamentarian spraying coffee at her Kuomintang counterparts. A female legislator from the Kuomintang was also seen bursting into tears after she was forced off the podium by a male opponent.

In the past Taiwan’s parliament has been notorious for hosting mass brawls between legislators but over the last few years debates have remained peaceful.

The tax, which the government said at the time was part of their efforts to ensure “social justice”, was approved by the ruling Kuomintang controlled parliament in July last year and took effect in January.

But since then the new tax has sparked waves of opposition from influential business groups and big stock traders.

Amid mounting calls to scrap the tax to boost falling trading volumes, the Kuomintang government decided to revise the tax, but the attempt encountered strong objections from the three opposition parties.

The major opposition Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) asked President Ma Ying-jeou to apologize for what they said was a wrong policy — a demand rejected by Ma.

The tax was part of Ma’s efforts to close a growing gap between rich and poor — a key component of his campaign platform when he was re-elected for a second and final term in January 2012.

In 1988 officials tried to introduce a similar levy but were forced to scrap it after the stock market slumped by more than 35 percent in a month.

Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX), the last Republican to speak on the floor before today’s shameful vote to advance the ’Gang of 8′ amnesty bill, gave a brief but powerful presentation showing up the open-borders Senators as supporting bill that is just like ObamaCare, and does nothing to secure the border.

Cruz comparing the rushed, unread amnesty bill being rushed through only 72 hours after being introduced, without a single hearing on it to the health care bill – a clear blast at the 15 turncoat Republicans who have all endlessly denounced the way the Nancy Pelosi insisted her colleagues has to “pass (ObamaCare) so you can find out what’s in it“.

The junior senator from Texas, who stands his ground like a veteran of many years, Cruz also skewers Senators who supported today’s “fig leaf” amendment as those who don’t want to “actually secure the border”, but merely to “convince gullible constituents that they’ve done something” – when of course the Corker amendment guarantees absolutely nothing for border security.

Schumer tries to derail Cruz at the start, but fails. This is no “freshman”, this is a leader.

Obamacare sales pitch to flood schools, churches, cell phones, computers

06/25/2013

Here comes the great Obamacare sales pitch.

Enroll America, a group dedicated to helping the administration sell the nation on Obamacare, is planning to make their pitch of encouraging Americans to sign up in schools, churches, and even personal cellular phones.

The nonprofit group with ties to the president's team is poised to become the president's unofficial Obamacare marketing team, announcing this week that it will put its message in every corner of American life.

Its new campaign is called "Get Covered America," and the aim is to provide an easily understood set of reasons and directions to Americans who either don't have health insurance or have inadequate coverage to sign up.

"Get Covered America will engage you at your churches, schools and community events," said Enroll America President Anne Filipic in a YouTube video pitch announcing the plan.
Sign Up for the Paul Bedard newsletter!

"You'll hear from us on your televisions and radios, on your computers and smart phones and in your mailboxes too," she added.

Some 7 million people are expected to begin signing up for Obamacare beginning in October for coverage that will begin in January.

In advance of a critical vote Monday on a border security deal offered by Republican Sens. Bob Coker and John Hoeven, the president of the Immigrations and Customs Enforcement union urged senators to vote ‘no’ on the amendment.

National ICE Council President Chris Crane issued an aggressive statement calling on lawmakers to vote “no” on the amendment to the Senate’s immigration reform bill and called out Florida Republican Sen. Marco Rubio for misleading law enforcement on promises of more interior enforcement.

Hackers Poised for Biggest Attack on N.Korean Websites

06/24/2013

International hackers' collective Anonymous are poised for a massive cyber attack on North Korea to mark the 60th anniversary of the outbreak of the Korean War. The "hacktivists" threatened in April to attack 46 North Korean websites including the official KCNA news agency at 12 noon on Tuesday.

Anonymous in similar previous attacks temporarily paralyzed websites and retrieved data from them.

In a recent video clip on YouTube, they claimed to have extracted missile blueprints from the intranet of the North Korean military and other information.

Last Friday, KCNA denounced the hackers as a "ragtag band" under the control of U.S. and South Korean intelligence agencies. It claimed the intranet which Anonymous claim to have infiltrated "does not even exist."

‘Digital dementia’ is on the rise

06/24/2013

Teens addicted to Net, mobile devices now get cognitive disorders

Kim Min-woo, 15, started having memory problems recently. He started flunking tests in subjects that required heavy bouts of memorization. And then he couldn’t remember the six-digit keypad code to get into his own home. He had to call the code up on his smartphone to get in the door.

Kim’s mother took him to a doctor and the diagnosis was shocking: Kim had symptoms of early onset dementia due to intense exposure to digital technology. Since the age of five, Kim was tethered to either the television or the computer. He is an avid computer game lover.

“His brain’s ability to transfer information to long-term memory has been impaired because of his heavy exposure to digital gadgets,” said psychiatrist Kim Dae-jin at Seoul St. Mary’s Hospital in southern Seoul, who diagnosed Kim and is treating him.

Plea set for Kenyan man accused of cannibalism in Maryland

BEL AIR, Md. (AP) — A plea hearing is scheduled for a college student who told authorities he killed a man and ate his heart and parts of his brain.

Alexander Kinyua is scheduled to appear in Harford County Circuit Court on Monday.

Kinyua is charged with killing a 37-year-old man from Ghana in 2012. The victim had been staying with Kinyua's family in the Baltimore suburb of Joppatown.

Authorities say Kinyua ranted about "mass human sacrifices" in Facebook months before the slaying.

Kinyua has pleaded guilty but not criminally responsible to attacking a man on a college campus in Baltimore with a baseball bat in a separate case.

He has been committed indefinitely to a psychiatric hospital.

U.S.-China Relations under Barack Obama and Xi Jinping

06/24/2013

The reelection of President Barack Obama and the convening of China’s 18th National Congress marks a new era for U.S.-China relations.

On November 29, the Brookings-Tsinghua Center for Public Policy hosted Jeffrey Bader for a public forum to discuss these and related issues facing the Obama and Xi administrations. Bader is the John C. Whitehead senior fellow in international diplomacy at the Brookings Institution. He served as senior director for East Asian affairs on the National Security Council during President Obama’s first term, and is the author of Obama and China’s Rise: An Insider’s Account of America’s Asian Strategy.

In Bader’s view, U.S.-China relations are in pretty good shape right now. Interdependence is the most important characteristic of this relationship, and a crucial aspect is that the two countries continue to maintain strategic cooperation in many fields. America’s foreign policies and strategies toward China will not change significantly under President Obama’s second term, and the key issue will be how to react properly to China’s continued rise and its increasingly important role in global society.

Meng Bo, associate director of the Brookings-Tsinghua Center, gave the opening remarks for this event. Professor Zhang Ruizhuang from Nankai University made comments and shared his insights on U.S.-China relations from the perspective of realism theory.

After the program, Bader took audience questions. The event was held in both English and Chinese with interpreters.

Senate border deal may clear way for bill, wave of illegal immigrants

06/24/2013

The border security deal senators struck last week has cleared the way for the immigration bill to pass with the support of at least 11 Republicans who say the additional 20,000 Border Patrol agents and potentially 350 miles of new fencing make the bill palatable.

The only problem, according to analysts on all sides of the issue, is that those steps are not likely to achieve much in the way of stemming another wave of illegal immigration.

46 million more Americans

06/24/2013

That's the CBO estimate for the Senate's immigration bill:

The Senate’s pending immigration bill will pave the way for the arrival of 46 million legal immigrants over the next 20 years, increase the federal debt in the same time period and shrink Americans’ average wage, according Alabama Republican Sen. Jeff Session’s critical reading of two new reports on the pending immigration reform bill provided by the Congressional Budget Office. But Florida Republican Sen. Marco Rubio, the most prominent GOP advocate for the immigration reform bill, says the CBO reports are good news for Americans.

Marco Rubio wants more Hispanic immigrants. That's almost as much of a surprise as Italy's new Congolese Minister of the Interior, whose first action in office was to argue for the importance of making it easier for Africans to get Italian citizenship. Isn't it a remarkable coincidence that the absolute top priority of every immigrant who achieves any political power is to bring in more people just like them?

Anyhow, this should suffice to snuff out the last remnants of any grass roots Republican enthusiasm for Marco Rubio. And I can't help but notice the reference to that portentous year. 2033. By the time there are 357 million people living in the lower 48, I very much doubt they will still be a single political entity.

The revelation in 2011 that the New York City Police Department was spying on law-abiding Muslims rightly attracted scrutiny from the Justice Department, which announced last year that it intended to review the program. The disclosure also raised troubling questions about whether the city was violating a federal court order that bars it from retaining information gleaned from investigations of political activity unless there are reasonable indications of potential wrongdoing. The purpose of that order was to discourage unjustified surveillance and prevent police from peering into people’s private affairs and building dossiers on them without legitimate cause.

Now comes a new federal lawsuit filed on behalf of Muslim citizens and organizations saying...

New Canadian Law States Masked Protesters Could Face 10 Years in Jail

The rise of the people is an undeniable happening across the globe as hundreds of millions have taken to the streets over the past few years to stand up for what they are not happy with throughout the world. With these protests comes bullhorns, signs, masks, costumes and more creative ways that protesters use to make their point.

But a new Canadian law (Bill C-309) now forbids people from wearing any mask or face-covering during a riot or so-called “unlawful assembly.” While it is difficult to determine how the law defines this type of protest exactly, it is clear on the fact that non abiders can receive a maximum of 10 years in prison if they are convicted of concealing their identity.

In new immigration deal, a big favor for Alaska

Switchblade carries a high-explosive warhead that can blow up everything within a 1-, 5-, or 7-meter range around the drone; it can take out an individual, or a truck. A high-resolution video camera in the nose allows a human operator to verify the target before detonating the drone. This is a far less destructive than the 20-pound warhead on the Hellfire missiles fired by Reaper drones, which can cause considerable collateral damage.

Although they won’t give operational details, the Switchblade has received good reviews from users in Afghanistan, where the drone has been deployed since late 2012…

Fatah's true goal remains to reverse 1948

06/23/2013

Prominent members of Fatah keep making statements that prove that their intent is not to 'compromise' with Israel and have a state along the indefensible 1949 armistice lines, but rather to reverse the results of the 1948-49 War of Independence by ending the existence of the State of Israel.

I keep pointing out those statements in the hope that each and every person who reads this blog understands the true goal of the 'moderate Palestinians' and that it is no different than the goal of the 'bad' terrorists of Hamas. No 'Palestinian' accepts - or ever will accept - Israel's 'right to exist' and it's long past time for us to begin dealing with the situation accordingly.

Socially engineering racial conflict

This is true, but it still doesn't get at the heart of the matter.

I said many years ago that I didn't use the term "African-American" and that I never would. It is part of the Lexicon of the Left, and, as the old book the Tyranny of Words points out, the side that defines the vocabulary of a debate, wins the debate. But what really is the problem with the term in question?
