Authorities are remaining tight-lipped after federal agents raided the home of a La Joya Independent School District board member.
Agents with the Office of the Inspector General for the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development raided the home of school board member Juan Jose "JJ" Garza on Wednesday morning.
It's not clear why Garza's home was raided but HUD Inspector General agents were seen at his Kika De La Garza Boulevard house loading and carrying boxes from his garage.
Garza was not immediately available for comment.
The agents at the scene declined to comment referring questions to supervisors and other agencies.
Action 4 News will provide more information as it becomes available.
