War on Christmas and Capitalism Merge: Toys R Us re-opens after bomb threat

December 9, 2013

PARMA, OH (WOIO) -
Parma Police are currently looking for the person responsible for making a bomb threat which caused a popular toy store to shut down.
On Sunday, December 8, authorities report that a male called the Toys R Us on Day Drive at around 4:30 p.m. and stated that there was a bomb in the store.

This prompted managers to evacuate all shoppers and most of the staff as they assisted police in their search throughout the store.
Many upset customers, some who had been hunting for the perfect Christmas gift, had their shopping experience brought to a screeching halt.
Sources report that the confusion was caused by a disgruntled shopper who realized that the store did not have anymore Playstation 4 consoles, Xbox Ones or Doc McStuffins dolls.
The store was closed for a little more than an hour.  No suspicious packages were located and cops deemed it safe to reopen.
Officers say that the primary focus of the investigation is to locate the male responsible for the scare.
