Officials outraged after Texas examiner refuses autopsy for ICE agent
HOUSTON –Some local officials expressed outrage after hearing that The Harris County Medical Examiner’s Office refused to accept the body of a U.S. federal agent who was fatally shot in Mexico. Special Agent Jaime Zapata, 32, died and a second agent, Victor Avila, was wounded Tuesday when they were attacked after being stopped on a four-lane federal highway in northern Mexico.
