The White Privilege Conference and Common Core: The Scary Similarities

by Gary Spina

The White Privilege Conference is working hard to control the thoughts and core beliefs of a new army of radicals who would tear down America and replace it with a totalitarian socialist state. They are well-organized, they are dangerous – they are a very real threat to capitalism, to our work-ethic, to Christian values, family values, and the American way of life. And they are real, and they have come calling – even now gently tapping so innocently at our door.

I would like to know how many of the people involved in the White Privilege Conference are in charge of teaching our children? More and more, our classrooms and our school curriculums are controlled by shadowy people with shadowy agendas from shadowy backrooms from outside the local school district. More and more control is taken away from parents and locally elected school boards — all under the sinister doctrine of universal or nationally accepted “standards.”

The origins of it all are hidden from us, yet the conferences appear to be well-organized, well-funded, and well-attended. All the while, we the parents of school children, we the hard-working, law-abiding, productive Americans who contribute to America’s greatness, we who believe in Judeo-Christian values are all in their cross-hairs. We are scorned, lied to, and manipulated.

I’m thinking about that TV commercial — a massive propaganda drive — that has silly young school teachers promulgating the nonsense that Common Core is “local” and community based, that it is not mandated from Washington and not forced on states and school districts, that its goal is higher standards of education. All are provable lies.

Now I know that the White Privilege Conference is more than just public education, and they may or may not have ties to Common Core. But the similarities between the two are scary. The White Privilege Conference is mass indoctrination of people who have been made to believe themselves victims.

Common Core is an organized effort to wrest control of our children’s minds from family and church.

Both the White Privilege Conference and Common Core are putting across a false narrative and a dishonest revision of history and reality. Both are motivated by their goal of fundamentally destroying America.

These freedom haters have their tentacles entwined in every aspect of our society. But, more than anything else, I was dismayed to see in attendance at the White Privilege Conference so many of our teachers and educators who are so willing to espouse a deep-rooted hatred and a pervasive divisiveness – so eager to champion the dismantling of America.

If these movements flourish — if this poison and ignorance takes hold in our society — America cannot recover. Of course, the people behind the White Privilege Conference and Common Core know that. That is exactly their goal.

Now, how are we going to fight them? Because fight them we must.

Why Operation American Spring is Unconstitutional

I may offend some good friends by posting this, but it has to be said.
“It is impossible to read the history of the petty republics of Greece and Italy without sensations of horror and disgust at the distractions with which they were continually agitated, and at the rapid succession of revolutions by which they were kept in a state of perpetual vibration between the extremes of tyranny and anarchy.” – Publius, Federalist Paper No. 9
For those who haven’t heard, Operation American Spring is a group of so-called patriots led by retired Col. Harry Riley, who are planning to demonstrate in Washington on May 16th. Their announced aim is to oust politicians they deem corrupt, and to replace them with politicians they like. OAS is claiming the authority of the Constitution and Declaration, to “throw off the bonds” of an unjust government and to redress grievances. There’s just one problem. Transferring power by these methods is totally unconstitutional. If we follow this lead, we can forget elections and voter sovereignty.
Any group of citizens can collect in public to air grievances and urge a course of action. They can speak to create a tension in the mind of the community. But OAS can’t claim to be restoring our constitutional republic by inviting ten million people to show up in Washington to throw people out of office outside the electoral process. Be they ten or ten million, no one voted for them to represent America; and they certainly do not represent the Tea Party, which has from the start been a constitutionalist movement. Riley and OAS represent only themselves.
In the Federalist Papers, Publius warned against exactly what OAS is, a faction: “…a number of citizens, whether amounting to a majority or minority of the whole, who are united and actuated by some common impulse of passion, or of interest, adverse to the rights of other citizens…” (Federalist Paper No. 10).
PubliusThe Founders took great pains to create a government that would prevent the changeable passions of a group in frenzy from imposing their will on the rest of the country.
Dr. Mickey Craig of Hillsdale College, puts it succinctly:
“The Constitution, while it is a popular government, it is a form of popular government which recognizes the disease of popular government, and has put in place institutional arrangements that will make it less likely that a factious or tyrannical majority will form and lead to the loss of liberty for the country.”
Operation American Spring is taking its cues from the populist Occupy and Arab Spring movements. The first brought destruction and anarchy to the streets of New York City and elsewhere. The second lead to the installation of one of the most tyrannical, fanatical leaders in Egypt’s recent history. This is horrifying enough. But more, they are preying on the well-meaning patriotism of many in the Tea Party movement, trusting that these same folks won’t see that OAS is completely antithetical to how we change power in America.
They are using the genuine and understandable frustrations of patriots who are fed up, citizens who see government out of control and want to do something to bring us back from the brink; from unsustainable debt, a government that won’t enforce our laws, a tyrannical health care policy that infringes on our liberties, and an economy and foreign policy that are in the toilet. They want to do something – something with faster results than our republican form of government allows. So here comes OAS with a call to action, miming Constitutionalism and encouraging the people to rise up and kick the corrupt bastards out via Washington sit-in.
constitution imaeThe slow, deliberative nature of our electoral process exists to temper the passions of just such a furious mob with its great potential for violence and anarchy. The constitution guarantees the peaceful transfer of power through the consent of the governed. It doesn’t matter how many papers OAS submits to Congress to get the Obama administration and John Boehner to resign. They can’t usurp and disregard our electoral process. To do so is to destroy the civil rights of the rest of the country who voted in 2012 and who certainly have a stake in November, 2014.
As Publius says in Federalist Paper No. 54, “This constitution will only work if the people choose men of wisdom and virtue to occupy the offices.” Where there are corrupt politicians, it is our duty as citizens to vote them out and vote in better representatives. Where there is voter or election fraud it is our duty to expose it and to stop it by requiring the same government-issued photo IDs we need to do everything else in our lives. Where millions are persuaded to vote for corrupt politicians and destructive policies, it is our job as citizens to persuade them otherwise. Where these problems are addressed we can begin to right the ship and save our country, no revolution needed.
Either Col. Riley and OAS are totally ignorant of what they are claiming to represent, or they are deliberately hijacking constitutional patriotism to enact what comes down to a coup – and mere months before our next election. Isn’t it ironic that a group claiming to restore our constitutional republic won’t use constitutional methods to do it?
Patriots from coast to coast should soundly reject Operation American Spring for exactly what it is: a tyrannical faction that is illegitimate, destructive, and unconstitutional.

White Privilege Conference: Constitutional Freedoms and Capitalism Are the Root of Evil

nonsensical white privilege theory

White Privilege, neo-communism

Americans are racists. Racism is embedded in our culture from its founding. There is no evil. Nothing is intrinsically bad, not even rape, except for maybe Christianity, freedom, the free market and rich white people. Crimes are committed because of our constitutional freedoms which allow us to hurt people. If we limit peoples’ freedoms, there will be no crimes and no evil.

These are some of the views and tacit implications expressed by the many educational speakers at the white privilege conference held this past March and uncovered by Progressives Today.

This is the serious Marxist indoctrination each year of thousands of teachers and students. It’s been going on for 15 years and should not be ignored.

White privilege is another way to indoctrinate the masses in Marxism and collectivist values.

Go to Progressives Today to read about this year’s white privilege conference and tweet from their site since Twitter constantly shuts them down because of the anti-free speech crazies who put in complaints against them. I summarized part 2 here but you can listen to part 3 on this link. In part 3, the teachers conducting the workshop talk about indoctrinating 4-year olds.

Progressives Today is doing an amazing job of exposing the communist ideology of white privilege and critical race theory which is being taught to thousands of teachers and students each year.

The following is a summary.

According to one professor who lectured at the conference, critical race theory is central to white privilege and it says, “You can’t just look at the face.” Look at Clarence Thomas, the speaker continued, can he compare with Thurgood Marshall? She then went on to mock and insult Thomas in a despicable way.

Another speaker talked about Christian hegemony which, according to him, is the “everyday, pervasive, deep-seated, and institutionalized dominance of Christian values, leaders, and Christians as a group, primarily for the benefit of Christian ruling elites.”

The man is obviously an anti-Christian bigot but the leftists at this conference have that covered. They say only blacks can be the victims of racism.

The Tea Party was demonized as racist. “The longer you are in the Tea Party, the more racist you become.”

People in gated communities are incoherent white racists who put their kids in white academies, according to one hate-filled speaker.

Capitalism needs to be dismantled, said another professor. Free market capitalists have ethnocentric values, she insisted. Capitalism is synonymous with racism, white privilege, sexism, and so on, according to her warped vision.

One professor wants limits on free speech because it hurts people and could cause people to commit crimes. The false assumption being they wouldn’t have committed crimes if they weren’t hurt. Painful language must be stopped at every governmental level, this statist declared.

Some workshops only allowed blacks and indigenous people. Apparently non-whites need to de-brief without whites in their present at the end of the day after being fed this hate-filled bigoted garbage all day long.

A “white ally” is assigned during the workshops though the ally can hardly be considered an ally.
Read this exchange:

“White people do not experience racism,” she told the investigator.

“White people can experience discrimination, but not racism.”

“Would you define discrimination as something intrinsically bad?” the investigator asked. “No, I don’t think anything is intrinsically bad. As a sociologist, I think context means everything.” “Rape isn’t intrinsically bad?” the investigator responded.

“It is not,” the White ally said.

There you have it. Rape isn’t intrinsically bad. Nothing is. There is no evil. People commit crimes because of our constitutional freedoms.

The participants are being told to put this in the classroom. They want them to start indoctrinating at age 4:

County drops after-school program at 10 APS schools

A simple letter turned the world upside down for parents at ten APS schools on Thursday.
The letter said Bernalillo county will no longer provide after-school programs at the following elementary schools:
Adobe Acres
Edward Gonzales
Helen Cordero
Kit Carson
Los Ranchos
Rudolfo Anaya
Sierra Vista
After KOB insisted on an explanation, there could be a little relief for the parents who depend on those programs.
One dad on Thursday told KOB he knows people who literally camped out to get a spot in the county-run after-school programs for their kids, because they are the only programs their families could afford for after-school child care.
It was a moment of panic for many parents like him when they got that letter.
Adam Cuevas picked up 9-year-old Selena from her after school program at Rudolfo Anaya Elementary only to be handed a note that said:
"Bernalillo County Parks and Recreation will no longer be providing after-school programming..."
That was followed by a blank, filled in the with name of Selena's school: Rudolfo Elementary.
"I really like it over here and I want it to stay," said Selena.
It means Selena's losing the stability of mentors she's grown up with.
"Well they're really nice and they're funny sometimes," she said.
But her father is losing far more.
"I have a four year old who's going to be in school next year and I need it... I was counting on it for both of them," said Cuevas. "I need it so that I can go to work."
An entire semester of the county's program costs Cuevas the same amount private daycare costs per week.
6-year-old Naveah's mom Krystal Mata said she feels abandoned after reading the letter.
"I don't know if they're bringing in a different program, or if that's just it," said Mata. "What do they expect working parents to do?"
KOB asked the county what it had to say to those working parents and they referred us to Jose Munoz.
Munoz is the executive director of the ABC Community School Partnership -- a non-profit that is contracted by the county, the City of Albuquerque and APS to oversee the management of funding for after-school programs.
Munoz said his organization determined it would be more cost-effective for the county to no longer directly manage the programs.
He assured KOB third party after-school program providers will be brought in to provide services. He said they will be identified prior to the registration for the school year.
Munoz says the third-party after-school programs should be the same cost as what parents are currently paying.
"Hopefully less," he said.

Epiphany: GOP shirt inspired by Martinez's 'I'll be damned' speech

The GOP has a new T-shirt inspired by New Mexico Gov. Susana Martinez.
Martinez received a standing ovation when she told the crowd at the 2012 Republican National Convention about the moment she no longer considered herself a Democrat. After discussing politics at lunch with her Republican friends, Martinez said she turned to her husband and said, "I'll be damned. We're Republicans."
The new T-shirts similarly proclaim, 'I'll be damned, I'm a Republican!'
The Republican National Committee is sending the shirts to people who donate $29 to the GOP.

CRIME: Most of 17 illegal immigrants who risked public safety during high speed chase captured, one deceased

Authorities are investigating an immigrant chase that ended in a rollover accident leaving at least 16 people injured and one person dead.
The chase ended with a crash near Whitewing and Saloman Chapa Drives just before 11 a.m. Friday.
Full details were not immediately available but according to preliminary reports, a white SUV was involved in a chase with law enforcement officials.
Investigators confirmed that 16 illegal immigrants were injured while one is dead.
The driver and three others allegedly fled the scene prompting authorities to set up a perimeter and manhunt in the area.
The fatal accident happened blocks away from Lorenzo De Zavala Middle School.
La Joya ISD officials said the middle school, La Joya High School and La Joya West Academy have all been placed under lockdown until further notice.
"Student safety is La Joya ISD’s number one priority," La Joya ISD officials said in a statement. "We ask that parents remain calm, as all children in the schools are safe and free of harm. The lockdown remains in effect until further notice."

NAME THAT PARTY: Donna ISD police chief fired for "not following political directives"

Partisan Politics at it's Finest Hour:

Donna ISD Police Chief Roy Padilla is off the job after the school board votes in executive session to terminate his employment.
Donna ISD released this statement on Chief Padilla's termination:
“At this time Chief Padilla is no longer employed by Donna ISD, however, Donna ISD thanks Chief Padilla for his service to the District and the Donna ISD Police Department.”
Former Chief Padilla declined an interview but confirmed the termination.
Action 4 News has attempted to call Interim Superintendent Jesus Rene Reyna several times, but has not received a call back or confirmation of the termination.
A call to the police department revealed Sgt. Daniel Walden has been placed as interim chief of the school district police department.
It is not clear when the termination was approved, but it comes following a school board meeting Tuesday night.
A person who attended the meeting told Action 4 News that the item was believed to have been discussed during the school board meeting's executive session.
Sources told Action 4 the former police chief was let go for "not following political directives" of the school board.
