Hate charge filed in attack on Seattle cab driver (racist Muslim attacks black man)

King County prosecutors have filed hate crime charges against an Everett man accused in a racially motivated attack on a Seattle cab driver. Prosecutors contend Hassan Nori Al-Maamar, 28, attacked the driver on Nov. 28 in Seattle after yelling anti-black slurs. According to charging documents, the cab driver pulled up behind Al-Maamar's stopped car. When Al-Maamar failed to move for several minutes, the cab driver honked his horn and a violent altercation ensued.
